Steel Heavy Hex Head Screws for High-Pressure Applications

These Grade B7 steel screws are nearly twice as strong as our stainless steel screws for high-pressure applications. Also known as pressure bolts, they meet the high-pressure and high-temperature regulations of ASTM A193 and are used to secure pressure tanks, valves, and flanges. Length is measured from under the head. Screws should be used with ASTM A194 nuts.
Partially threaded screws come with precise threaded and unthreaded portions, allowing you to place only the stronger unthreaded portion (grip) in joints subjected to sideways forces.

Extreme-Strength Steel Extra-Wide Hex Nuts—Grade 2H

Also known as heavy hex nuts, these nuts are about 10% wider and taller than standard hex nuts and distribute the load over a large area. Grade 2H nuts are comparable in strength to Grade 9 bolts. They're about 20% stronger than high-strength steel nuts and are used in heavy machinery, such as earth-moving equipment.
Hot-dipped galvanized steel nuts have a thick coating for better corrosion resistance than zinc-plated steel nuts. They must be used with other hot-dipped galvanized fasteners.
PTFE-coated steel nuts have a slippery surface to resist sticking during installation. They're resistant to chemicals and salt water.

Low-Strength Steel Extra-Wide Hex Nuts

Also known as heavy hex nuts, these nuts are about 10% wider and taller than standard hex nuts and distribute the load over a large area. They're about half the strength of medium-strength steel nuts and used for light duty fastening applications, such as securing access panels.
Zinc-plated steel nuts resist corrosion in wet environments.
Nuts that meet ASME B18.2.2 comply with standards for dimensions.
Nuts that meet SAE J995 comply with specifications for materials.

Super-Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel
Extra-Wide Hex Nuts for High-Pressure Applications

These nuts have excellent chemical resistance and can be used in saltwater environments. They're able to maintain their strength in high-pressure and high-temperature environments and are used with ASTM A193 bolts to fasten pressure tanks, valves, and flanges. Also known as heavy hex nuts, they are about 10% wider and taller than standard hex nuts and distribute the load over a large area. Nuts may be mildly magnetic.

Rotating Eyebolts—For Lifting

Unlike conventional eyebolts, you can rotate the eye 360° to match the angle of your load.
Powder-coated steel eyebolts are impact resistant, but less corrosion resistant than stainless steel eyebolts. They include a removable key for tightening the bolt.
Note: Capacities listed are for vertical lifting only. Eyebolts with shoulder can be used for angular lifting up to 45°, but the capacities will be significantly reduced. For angular lifting, we recommend Hoist Rings.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Hoist Rings—For Lifting

Designed for angular lifting, hoist rings resist stresses that would bend or break an eyebolt. They have a lifting ring that pivots 180° front to back and a base that swivels 360° to compensate for pitch, roll, and sway when lifting heavy or unbalanced loads. Install the base of the hoist ring flush to the mounting surface and tighten to the recommended torque that is stamped on the ring. Torque Wrenches are sold separately.
Machined hoist rings have a smooth finish to protect slings and hooks from damage and excess wear during lifting.
Black-oxide steel offers mild corrosion resistance.
Hoist rings that are CE marked meet European requirements for health, safety, and environmental protection.
Note: Capacities listed are for vertical lifting only. As the lift angle changes from vertical, the amount of weight the hoist ring can lift is significantly reduced. For example, when lifting a 1,000 lb. load at a 45° angle, you must choose a hoist ring with a capacity of at least 1,400 lbs. Do not use at an angle less than 30°.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
