    Transform an existing hole in plastic into a precision adjustment point. These inserts mate with ultra-fine-threaded screws for machining setups and other equipment where accuracy matters. Install in a drilled hole using an arbor press or similar pressure tool, and friction keeps inserts in place.
    Flanged Profile—Flanges on the insert create a load-bearing surface that prevents cracks or deformation in the base material. They also curb overtightening and keep inserts from getting pulled out or through.
    Brass—Conductive and nonmagnetic, these inserts are useful for electrical applications. They resist moisture but aren't as strong as steel inserts.

    Make precise adjustments where tight tolerances are critical. With ultra-fine threads, these thumb screws are often found on measuring devices and photonic equipment. The rolling ball tip maintains contact and swivels 360° so you can make adjustments without loosening the screw. The narrow width of the head allows these thumb screws to fit in spaces with limited clearance. The knurled texture creates extra grip as you twist. These thumb screws combine the strength of stainless steel with a lightweight plastic head that won’t rust.
