Route wire and cable outside of conduit in drop ceilings and behind walls. Made of nonconductive fiberglass, these rods are safer to use around energized equipment than metal rods. They glow in the dark for good visibility. The smaller the rod diameter, the more flexible the rod and the better its ability to make tight bends.

High-Temperature Rope Edge Seals

A tighter braid makes these fiberglass seals more durable than High-Temperature Ultra-Conformable Rope Edge Seals. They’re flexible and will conform to uneven surfaces. Push them into the groove that’s commonly built into oven doors, furnaces, and tanks. They resist bleach, solvents, and most acids (do not use with hydrofluoric acid, hot phosphoric acid, and wet hydrogen chloride).

High-Temperature Ultra-Conformable Rope Edge Seals

These loosely knitted fiberglass seals are more flexible, compressible, and conformable than High-Temperature Rope Edge Seals. The looser construction also makes them more likely to absorb liquids. Push them into the groove that’s commonly built into oven doors, furnaces, and tanks. They resist bleach, solvents, and most acids (do not use with hydrofluoric acid, hot phosphoric acid, and wet hydrogen chloride).

High-Temperature Chemical-Resistant Flange-Mount Rope Edge Seals

The PTFE coating on these fiberglass seals is slippery, so they are easier than the other seals to press fit into oven, furnace, and boiler doors. The PTFE resists most acids, alkalies, refrigerants, salts, and grease. The flange is also handy for positioning over uneven gaps.

Molten Metal Splash-Resistant Flange-Mount Rope Edge Seals

A silicone-coated fiberglass cover sheds sparks and molten metal splash while a stainless steel spring core bounces back when pressure is relieved. These seals resist steam, most refrigerants, salts, and grease. The flange on these seals slides into a slot that is commonly found on oven, furnace, and boiler doors; it can be positioned to cover large gaps.
