To prevent flashback in flammable gas pipelines, an internal flame-arresting element absorbs the heat from a fire to extinguish the flame. These valves are commonly used in pilot lines connected to waste gas burners.

To automatically shut off the flow of diesel fuel, fuel oil, kerosene, and oil in case of fire, these UL listed valves automatically close and the handle permanently fuses in place when the ambient temperature reaches 165° F. To reuse the valve, replace the handle (sold separately).

Minimize fire hazard from flammable vapors. Mount an arrester to your vent pipe to stop flames from traveling back into your tank. If the ambient temperature reaches 165° F, the fusible links melt, and the cover closes to block flames from the arrester. To reuse the arrester, replace the fusible links (sold separately).
