Metal-Detectable Hinges with Holes
Made of plastic with a metal additive, these hinges will set off metal detectors if a piece breaks off and falls into your line. The blue color makes broken pieces easy to find and retrieve. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs to keep contaminated food from leaving your facility.
These hinges are nylon, so they move smoothly and silently. They don’t wear easily, and they won’t break down from oil, grease, and solvents. They’re also FDA compliant, so they’re safe for direct contact with food. To limit unwanted adjustments, these hinges have nonremovable pins.

Sanitary Sealed Easy-Install Single U-Joints
Connect misaligned shafts in sanitary environments such as food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical plants. These U-joints have a highly polished surface to eliminate crevices where bacteria could grow. A heat- and water-resistant silicone boot keeps lubricant in and contaminants out, and the lubricant is NSF registered for incidental food contact. U-joints are made of 316 stainless steel, so they won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners.
These U-joints connect to shafts using a keyway and included set screws. Unlike standard U-joints, there’s no drilling or spring pin required for connecting to shafts. All have needle bearings for operating at higher speeds than other types of bearings.
FDA-compliant U-joints have a boot that is approved for direct contact with food.
