Food and Beverage Electric Mixers for Tanks

These mixers are CE marked, CSA certified, and CSA-US certified for use with food and beverages. Attach to your tank wall. The propeller is left hand and moves clockwise when viewed from above to direct flow downward for efficient mixing. It rotates propellers at a fixed speed. Motor is totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) for use in environments with splashing water and dust. All meet IP56 for resistance to dust and washdowns.
Mixer for thin liquids is for liquids with a viscosity similar to water and light oils. Also known as a direct-drive mixer, it operates at high speeds for rapid tank turnover.
Mixer for thick liquids is for liquids with a viscosity similar to honey and molasses. Also known as a gear-drive mixer, it turns the propeller at low speeds.

Stainless Steel Lab Spoons and Spatulas

Collect, scrape, spread, and transfer small quantities of material—all with a single tool.
U-shaped spatulas have raised edges, so you can transfer powders and granules between containers without losing material. Rounded spatulas are ideal for accessing edges and corners. Use tapered spatulas to scrape material out of tight spots. Straight spatulas offer the largest surface area to scrape and spread materials. You can also use them to cut or divide a sample.
Stainless steel spoons and spatulas can withstand high temperatures. They resist corrosion and chemicals—plus they’re easy to clean. PTFE-coated stainless steel spatulas are nonstick—liquid and powder slide easily off them. The coating meets FDA requirements for use in direct food contact applications.

Round-Blade Stainless Steel Spatulas

Also known as ink knives, use these spatulas to mix and spread paints, chemicals, and adhesives. With a stainless steel blade, they support heavier loads than plastic spatulas without bending or breaking. They’re also more heat resistant, easier to clean and sanitize, and sharper for scraping stubborn materials.
Spatulas that meet NSF/ANSI 2 comply with sanitary standards for food-processing environments.

Controlled-Dispensing Lab Spatulas

A thumbwheel on these spatulas creates small vibrations to dispense tiny amounts of liquids or powder. This makes them a great choice to transfer material bit by bit into a weighing dish. Made from stainless steel, these spatulas are corrosion resistant for use with chemicals, as well as easy to clean and sanitize.
Spatulas with a U-shaped blade can fit into narrow openings, such as small bottles. Their raised edges keep samples from falling over the sides of the blade. Instead, samples will funnel down the narrow tip, giving you the greatest control over how much is dispensed.
Spatulas with a curved blade have a slight curve at the tip to keep samples from falling off the end in large quantities. These spatulas lack edges, so they are a great choice when you want to dispense every last speck.
PTFE-coated spatulas let liquid and powder slide easily off the blade. The coating meets FDA requirements for use in direct food contact applications.

Sterile Plastic Lab Spatulas

Cleaned and bagged in a Class 8 clean room, these spatulas won’t contaminate your samples. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food. Scoop, sort, or spread materials, then toss these spatulas when you’re done. Made of polystyrene, they are firm yet flexible enough to scrape the sides of containers without breaking. The narrow blade fits inside test tubes and other small containers.
Spatulas with a U-shaped blade have raised edges that keep powders and granules from falling as you move them between containers.
Spatulas with a straight blade are often used to scrape and spread pastes or gels. Since they don’t have raised edges, it’s easy to see if you’ve transferred every last speck.

Round-Blade Silicone Spatulas

Smoothly collect viscous material, from peanut butter to grease—these spatulas are made of silicone, so they won't leave a scratch. Their blade is soft and round, so it won’t nick glass or other fragile surfaces as you mix and spread material. While the outer layer flexes to conform to curves and corners, a nylon core keeps the blade’s shape. These spatulas meet NSF/ANSI 2 to comply with sanitary standards for food-processing environments.
Metal-Detector-Grade Plastic Stirring Paddles

Sanitary Stirring Paddles

Mix and stir food and other material in hygienic environments with these paddles—they’re easy to clean and won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners. You can also use them as scrapers.
Polypropylene paddles are much lighter than stainless steel paddles, which reduces fatigue during extended use. They also have a T-handle to give you more comfort and control. They’re often used to mix soups, sauces, and powders. Unlike stainless steel, they won’t scratch surfaces. Constructed from a single piece of plastic, they have no seams where bacteria can grow. These paddles are FDA compliant for direct contact with food.
304 stainless steel paddles are more durable than plastic paddles, and won’t bend or chip with prolonged use. They’re often used with dense or heavy materials, such as sticky dough and ice cream. These paddles are highly polished and have smooth, continuously welded seams, so bacteria has nowhere to hide. They meet NSF/ANSI 2 design standards for sanitary food equipment.
Paddles with holes are good for agitating liquids, and they help break up clumps in your mixture.

Single-Use Sampling Knives

Slice, spread, and smooth samples with these knives, then toss them when you’re done to avoid cross contamination. Made of polystyrene, they're rigid enough to cut through material as thick as clay without bending or breaking. They’re FDA compliant for direct contact with food.
Sterile knives are made and individually bagged in an ISO Class 7 clean room, so they’re free of particles that could contaminate your samples.

Food Service Spatulas

Mix, flip, or scrape.
Spatulas with a stainless steel blade are a good choice for scraping, lifting, and cutting. Their sharp edges handle tough residues but may scratch sensitive surfaces. The blade resists corrosion from cleaning chemicals and withstands high temperatures.
Spatulas with a plastic blade are rigid but less prone to scratching surfaces than spatulas with stainless steel blades. The plastic may degrade from consistent exposure to chemicals and high temperatures.
Spatulas with a silicone blade are flexible—they'll conform to curved containers and scrape without leaving marks.
Spatulas that meet NSF/ANSI 2 comply with sanitary standards for food-processing environments.

Round-bottom spoons work well for most jobs. They're shaped to get into corners and scrape along the sides of containers. Flat-bottom spoons measure the same volume every time. They stay stable on surfaces when you set them down or use them as weigh boats.
Use perforated spoons to strain samples and skim foam from the top of a vat.
Spoons with a plastic handle are insulated to protect your hand from hot and cold contents. Spoons with a colored handle let you assign colors to specific tasks for quick identification.
Spoons that meet NSF/ANSI 2 sanitary standards are safe to use in food-processing environments.
Spoons with a stop notch have a bump under the handle that prevents them from slipping into containers.

Sterile Plastic Sampling Spoons
Sterilized then individually packaged in bags, these spoons won’t contaminate your work. Each bag is marked with a lot number. Toss the spoons out after you stir or collect your samples.
Style A have the portion size marked on the back of the handle. Level them off to sample the same capacity every time. They’re designed to sit flat on a surface without wobbling, so you can use them as weigh boats.
Style C have a bent handle to retrieve samples from tall or deep containers. A narrow bowl makes it easy to reach material in corners and scrape edges.
