Water- and Steam-Resistant Light Duty Cork Gasket Material
With a maximum pressure of 55 psi, these cork sheets are commonly used in low-pressure applications. This material is also used in bulletin boards. It is highly compressible and conforms to uneven surfaces. Cut with a utility knife.
Adhesive-back sheets stay in place to make installation easier.

Thermally Shock-Resistant Mullite Ceramic Sheets

- Color: Tan
- Maximum Temperature: 3,100° F
- Fabrication: Fired
- Dielectric Strength: 250V/mil
- Porosity: 0%
- Compressive Strength: 150,000psi
Often used as kiln shelves and refractory bricks, you can repeatedly move these mullite ceramic sheets between very hot and cold environments without deforming or cracking. All of these sheets are fully fired and seal out air and gas in high temperature applications, similar to nonporous alumina sheets. They also stand up to corrosion from chemicals, including acids that form while metal working. These sheets can even be used as electrical insulation.

Thermally Shock-Resistant Mullite Ceramic Tubes

- Color: Tan
- Maximum Temperature: 3,000° F
- Fabrication: Fired
- Porosity: 0%
- Compressive Strength: 79,000 psi
These mullite tubes can repeatedly be exposed to temperature fluctuations without deforming or cracking. They can be used as a protective cover over materials that are moved between hot and cold environments, such as thermocouples. These tubes are fully fired and seal out air and gas in high temperature applications like nonporous alumina. They also resist corrosion from a variety of chemicals. Use them in furnaces, heaters, electrical insulation, and glass- and steel-industry refractories.

Thermally Shock-Resistant Mullite Ceramic Rods

- Color: Tan
- Maximum Temperature: 3,100° F
- Fabrication: Fired
- Porosity: 0%
- Compressive Strength: 150,000 psi
Used in prototypes, insulators, and machine tooling, these mullite ceramic rods won’t deform or crack when exposed to extreme temperature changes, high heat, or stress. Fully fired, they seal out air and gas in high temperature applications, similar to nonporous alumina sheets. These rods won’t corrode from chemicals, including acids that form while metal working.

Sealants

These sealants are non-sagging, so they won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces.
Elongation and joint compression/expansion tolerance indicate flexibility. For joints between dissimilar materials and in environments with wide temperature fluctuation, choose a sealant with a higher elongation or joint compression/expansion tolerance. For high-wear applications, choose a harder sealant for the most abrasion resistance.

All-Weather Application Structural Sealants

Apply these sealants in cold temperatures, on wet surfaces, and even through running water. They are structural sealants that combine the mechanical strength of an adhesive with excellent sealing properties and high flexibility. Sealants are non-sagging, so they won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces.
Elongation and joint compression/expansion tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. These sealants are good for use between dissimilar materials and in environments with wide temperature fluctuation.
