Read pressure directly at the source and send data remotely with one device. Also known as transducers, these transmitters convert pressure to an electrical signal that can be interpreted by receiving devices, such as remote displays, programmable logic controllers, and motor speed controls to monitor pressure or control equipment. As pressure increases, the output signal from the transmitter will increase. For your receiving device to interpret the signal from the transmitter, you will need to calibrate it for the pressure range and output signal of the transmitter. Transmitters will only provide accurate readings within the rated pressure range. Maximum pressure is the maximum spike in pressure a transmitter can withstand without damage. Transmitters are accurate only within the pressure range, not up to the maximum pressure. All transmitters are rated IP67 for protection from temporary submersion. They’re CE marked as compliant with European health, safety, and environmental standards.

All of these transmitters connect using two wires to send a 4-20mA current output. The same wire is used to send a signal to the receiver and to power the transmitter. Current doesn’t lose signal over long distances and isn’t affected by electrical interference from other devices. These transmitters also connect using three wires to send a DC voltage output—two wires into the power supply and a separate wire that sends a signal to the receiver. The receiver and the transmitter share a common ground wire back to the power supply. Transmitters are compatible with micro M12 sockets.

With two outputs, these transmitters—also known as transducers—can be used as a transmitter, a switch, or both. All send electrical signals to your programmable logic controllers to trigger actions in your system. The transmitters’ display has buttons to easily adjust set points, measuring range, scales, and other settings. The approximate difference between the set point and the reset point is adjustable, so you can set it anywhere within the set point range. Program the display to show red and green colors to signal the status of your process. Two LEDs alert you to the switching status of your output. The display head rotates 345° for the best view.

These transmitters have a 316L stainless steel connection to stand up to corrosion. All are rated IP65 and IP67, so they are protected against dust, low-pressure jets of water, and temporary submersion. They also meet U.S., Canadian, and European safety standards.

All of these transmitters have an M12 plug connection and are for use with M12 sockets. For their 4-20mA output current range, they’ll need a two-wire connection.
