A latch ensures rope, chain, and fittings won't separate from the hook when the load slackens. The hook opening accommodates large anchor points and allows chain to move freely through the closed hook.
Extra-high-strength hooks for Grade 120 chain are the strongest hooks we offer. They are approximately 20% stronger than hooks for Grade 100 chain.

Clevis Hooks—For Lifting
Slide the clevis pin into these hooks to attach chain. A latch ensures rope, chain, and fittings won't detach from the hook when the load slackens. The hook opening accommodates large anchor points and allows chain to move freely through the closed hook.
Extra-high-strength hooks for Grade 120 chain are the strongest hooks we offer. They are approximately 20% stronger than hooks for Grade 100 chain and about 35% stronger than hooks for Grade 80 chain.
Steel hooks are stronger than stainless steel hooks. Powder-coated hooks are mildly corrosion resistant.

Grab Hooks with Clevis—For Lifting
Slide the clevis pin into these hooks to attach chain, no extra fittings needed. The hook has a narrow throat that’s precisely sized to grip a single link of chain. Made of powder-coated steel, they resist some corrosion.
Match your hook to your chain’s grade. The higher the chain grade, the stronger hook. For the three chain grades we offer hooks for (80, 100, 120), each hook is about 20% stronger than the last.
