Metal Bar Grating
Able to support heavier loads than plank grating, bar grating is good for trenches, mezzanines, walkways, work platforms, and floors. This grating has an open design that allows air, light, and debris to flow through. Cross bars hold the bearing bars in place; bearing bars help distribute weight and must rest on supports. Use Fasteners for Metal Bar Grating to secure.
Serrated grating provides maximum slip resistance.
Stainless steel grating has better corrosion resistance than steel or aluminum.

Fasteners for Metal Bar Grating
Secure grating to your support structure.
Swivel locks are easy to install, adjust, and remove—tighten the bolt and the fastener swivels into place.
Saddle clips bridge two bearing bars. Fasteners require a hole in the support structure as well as a threaded stud and hex nut (not included).
C-clips hook onto the support structure and are connected by a bolt to the plate on top of the grating. They tighten from above the grating for easy installation.

Use plank grating for platforms, stair treads, ramps, and decks. Openings allow light to pass through and water to drain. Cut grating with a band saw, hack saw, circular saw, or shears. Use Fasteners for Plank Grating to secure.

Expanded panels are more rigid than perforated panels and are for use when structural stability is important. They can be formed and welded; however, they are more difficult to cut than perforated panels. Raised panels have strands that overlap to provide a skid-resistant surface. Use them to create safety guards for equipment and machinery.
