General Purpose Grinding Wheels for Angle Grinders—Use on Metals
A good value for everyday use, these wheels offer an economical balance between heavy material removal and long life. They are also known as Type 27 wheels, raised-hub wheels, and grinding discs.
Wheels are aluminum oxide, which is the most common abrasive used in grinding metal. Use for grinding surfaces and removing weld seams. The 1/8" and 3/16" thick wheels can also be used for notching and cutting.
Caution: Use only accessories that have a greater rpm rating than the maximum speed of the grinder you choose.

Long-Life Grinding Wheels for Angle Grinders—Use on Metals
Wheels are a blend of aluminum oxide and zirconia alumina, which removes more material and lasts three times as long as our General Purpose Grinding Wheels. They are also known as Type 27 wheels, raised-hub wheels, and grinding discs.

Grinding Bits for Stainless Steel
Bits stay cool during grinding so they won’t mar or discolor stainless steel.
Bits are zirconia alumina, which grinds faster and lasts longer than aluminum oxide. They are also known as mounted points and die grinder bits. Head diameter is measured at the widest point.
Caution: As bit shank is exposed beyond 1/2", maximum safe rpm decreases significantly. Refer to ANSI standard B7.1. Use only accessories that have a greater rpm rating than the maximum speed of the grinder you choose.
