Impact-Resistant Work Gloves

Shield the tops of your hands from bumps and bruises in tight spaces around heavy equipment. These gloves are often worn when handling heavy materials or machinery. All meet ANSI/ISEA 138, which rates impact resistance based on how much force they absorb. The higher the rating, the greater the protection. They also meet ANSI/ISEA 105 and EN 388 standards for various forms of protection, such as cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance.
Synthetic leather gloves have more wear resistance than leather gloves.

High-Dexterity Work Gloves

Designed for jobs where you need to stay nimble. These form-fitting gloves resist abrasion and conform to your hand to reduce fatigue.
Synthetic gloves resist wear better than leather gloves.
Gloves with a silicone rubber grip on the palms and fingers are tacky—use them for jobs where you need a strong grip. For better traction in dry, oily, and wet conditions, use gloves with a Kevlar/Dyneema grip.
Rollover fingertips don’t have seams at the fingertips, so gloves won’t split apart in a high-contact spot.
Gloves that meet ANSI/ISEA 105 are rated for protection from abrasion, punctures, and tears.
Gloves that meet EN 388 adhere to European standards, similar to ANSI/ISEA 105, for resistance to abrasive surfaces, tears, cuts, and punctures.

Vibration-Protection Work Gloves

Reduce hand fatigue while operating rivet guns, jackhammers, and other power tools that produce high levels of vibration. These gloves have either rubber padding or internal air pockets to absorb shock and cushion vibration. All gloves meet ANSI/ASA S2.73 and ISO 10819 standards, which verify that they reduce the amount of vibration that travels from your machine to your hand. As a result, they help protect against health risks related to long-term vibration exposure, such as hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS). They’re also tested according to EN 388 standards for resistance to abrasion, cuts, tears, punctures, and impacts.
Nylon/cotton gloves are thin and lightweight for good dexterity. Synthetic leather gloves have better wear resistance than leather gloves.
Gloves with rubber dots on the palm have a strong grip. Those with mesh backing also ventilate your hand when you work.

Work Gloves for Chainsaws

Protection where it counts—these gloves prevent a chainsaw from slicing through to your hand. Made to hold the chainsaw in your right hand, the backing on the left hand of these gloves has 20 layers of cut-resistant fabric. This backing slows or jams the blade of most handheld chainsaws and guards against kickback. Reinforced palms shield against impact and vibration, so you can use your chainsaw for extended periods without hand fatigue.
These gloves meet EN ISO 11393-4, an international standard that states these gloves can halt the blade of a chainsaw moving up to 20 meters per second. They also meet EN 388 requirements to shield you from abrasive surfaces, tears, and punctures.

Open-Finger Work Gloves

Use these gloves to cover your hands while leaving your fingertips open to grip objects.
Kevlar gloves are durable—all are rated to ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for cut and abrasion resistance. Those with PVC grip give you a secure grip. The grip pattern is on both sides of the glove, so you can wear them on either hand to extend the life of the gloves.
Heat-Protection Gloves

Designed for intermittent handling of hot pipes, engine parts, and castings, these gloves protect your hands from moderate heat and some abrasion. Holding heavy objects may decrease temperature rating.
Gloves that are palm coated have an uncoated backside that makes them more comfortable and breathable. Gloves with nitrile grip are textured to help grasp glass, slippery plastics, and oily machine parts.
Use gloves with knit cuffs for a secure fit.
Cut-Protection Gloves

These gloves meet the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, which designates levels of cut resistance based on the force needed to cut through the material of the glove using a razor blade. They are made from kevlar aramid, so they absorb moisture. Knit cuffs provide a secure fit.
Style B gloves have raised dots on both sides for a secure grip in wet and oily conditions. Gloves are ambidextrous and can be worn on either hand for convenience or to extend use when the grip on one side wears down.
