This spray smoke simulates fire conditions to make sure your detectors are working.
Extension arm and add-ons let you test out-of-reach smoke detectors. Up to five add-ons can be connected to the extension arm.
Fire Alarm Control Panels

Connect and monitor your fire alarm system. Control panel comes with all the circuitry needed to power and monitor devices for up to five zones. These devices can include up to 30 smoke or carbon monoxide detectors as well as an unlimited number of heat detectors and fire alarm stations. Indicators show the status of each zone. The control panel has one relay for connecting alarms such as buzzers, bells, and lights.

Infrared Thermometers

Measure the temperature of dangerous, hard-to-reach, and moving surfaces without risking electrical shock or contamination. These thermometers are often used to locate and diagnose problems in electrical, heating, and ventilation systems. Maximum working distance is the distance a one foot target can be reliably measured.
Thermometers with adjustable emissivity can be calibrated for more accurate readings of shiny surfaces than thermometers with fixed emissivity.
Warning: These infrared thermometers are not intended for medical use. Use Non-Contact Forehead Thermometers for medical use.

Thermal Imaging Cameras

Detect hot spots, leaks, moisture problems, and construction defects invisible to the eye. These imaging guns translate thermal energy into a color image that indicates hotter areas as brighter and cooler areas as darker, so it’s easy to identify and diagnose problems on instrument panels, HVAC systems, and other equipment. To review footage at a later date, use them to take photos and videos. The lower a camera’s thermal sensitivity, the more precise heat differences it will detect for more detailed images. All are CE marked as meeting European standards for health, safety, and environmental protection. Some include a calibration certificate traceable to NIST stating they’ve passed a test for accuracy.

FDA compliant cameras are approved for use alongside other screening devices to detect differences in skin surface temperature. Use screening mode to scan large crowds of people, and these cameras will notify you when someone’s temperature is above your specified range. Draw a square around a specific area to get its average temperature with the area box function, or target a specific object with the spot meter feature. A laser sight tells you how far you are from your target, so you know you’re standing at a safe distance. Record verbal notes for documentation with the built-in microphone. These cameras connect to computers via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or a USB cable for quick data transfers.
Use cameras with a 2732° F maximum temperature in facilities with extremely hot equipment such as boilers and steam systems. A one-touch level/span function lets you focus on a single area by tapping the touch screen, giving you a temperature span and contrast level specific to that area. These cameras have a 180° rotating lens, so you can get a clear view of your target from any angle.
Cameras that cannot be sold to California do not meet local efficiency standards.

Hazardous Location Infrared Thermometers

These thermometers are rated for environments where hazardous material is present. They measure the temperature of surfaces without making contact and are often used to locate and diagnose problems in electrical, heating, and ventilation systems. Maximum working distance is the distance a one foot target can be reliably measured. Thermometers have adjustable emissivity, which means they can be calibrated for accurate readings of shiny surfaces.
Hazardous location environmental ratings indicate whether manufacturers have included safety features in products to facilitate their safe use in a hazardous environment. Before selecting a product for a hazardous location, ensure it is rated for your environment. See About Hazardous Location Environmental Ratings.

Infrared Thermometer Transmitters
Monitor the temperature of molten steel, furnaces, glass, and other hazardous surfaces without touching them. A built-in transmitter reads surface energy levels and converts them to analog and digital output values that can be read by a receiving device, such as a PLC. Because of this, you can use these transmitters for measuring and switching applications.
Adjust set points, emissivity range, and other settings on-site using the buttons on the transmitters. Connect transmitters to an IO-link controller (not included) to change settings remotely and alert you to errors on PLCs and human-machine interfaces.
Plug these transmitters into shielded M12 sockets since they're extremely prone to signal interference. These transmitters connect using two wires to send a 4-20mA current output and four wires to use the switching output and IO-link. Connect to pin 5 to utilize the test function to verify that the transmitter's signal processing is working correctly. To view transmitter wiring diagrams, select a part number and click Product Detail.
Their lenses resist scratches, which could cause transmitters to lose focus. All are IP-rated for protection against dust and low-pressure jets of water. Made of 303 stainless steel, these transmitters resist corrosion.
Transmitters can be used on all surfaces. For best results when measuring at an angle or working on round or uneven surfaces, use transmitters with laser sight.
Transmitters with a wavelength range of 0.78–1.06 microns are best for use with glass. Use transmitters with a wavelength range of 1–1.7 microns on metal, ceramics, and graphite. Transmitters with a wavelength range of 8–14 microns are useful for plastic, fabrics, food products, and other metal-free surfaces.
Add accessories to protect your infrared thermometer transmitter in hot or dirty environments. Air purges flush out dust, moisture, and other contaminants on transmitter lenses that can interfere with infrared radiation focus and cause inaccurate readings. Cooling jackets connect to a compressed air or water line to keep temperature transmitters from overheating. Protective covers prevent dirt buildup and excessive exposure to light, which can cause transmitters to lose focus. Insulating tubes prevent overheating by protecting thermometers against heat from mounting brackets or other surfaces.

Heat Stress Monitors
Measure temperature, humidity, and radiant heat in your work area to keep your team safe from heat-related hazards. These monitors help you avoid dangerous conditions and comply with OSHA standards for a safe work environment. They use a variety of measurements from your surroundings to calculate the heat stress index and the wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT), which tell you how hot it feels. Set a maximum wet bulb globe temperature, and an alarm will go off when heat reaches the safety limit.
These monitors have two sensors. One measures temperature, humidity, dew point, and wet globe temperature. The other measures black globe temperature, which is the effect of direct solar radiation on an exposed surface. Carry monitors with you to measure different areas, or mount to your tripod to measure conditions over time.
To maintain their accuracy, monitors should be calibrated once a year. You can calibrate the monitor yourself using humidity standards. These standards contain a known humidity, so you can adjust your monitor until it reads the humidity correctly.
Monitors that come with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST have passed a test for accuracy.
Power these monitors with the included batteries, or add a power adapter to plug them in.
Add a memory card to store your readings and export them to a computer.
