Heat and cool high-temperature systems, such as inline heaters, boiler systems, and molding processes. These heat transfer fluids contain additives that enable them to withstand higher temperatures than our standard heat transfer fluids.
Silicone—Silicone fluids are for use in open (vented) systems.
Ethylene Glycol—Ethylene glycol fluids are for use in closed (nonvented) systems.
Propylene Glycol—Propylene glycol fluids are for use in closed (nonvented) systems. They are safer to handle than ethylene glycol.

Harden steel parts without cracks or distortion. This oil cools slower and more evenly than water for consistent hardening and less scrap.
Match the oil’s cooling rate to your steel’s alloy. Carbon steel and low-alloy steel (less than 5% alloy content) typically require faster cooling. High-alloy steel (more than 5% alloy content) benefits from slower cooling. You'll also need to account for the shape of your part. The more intricate the part, the slower the quench time you should choose.
Slow Quench—Also known as marquenching oil, use this oil in high-temperature quenching baths. It may not fully harden low-alloy steels.
