Soft and absorbent, these headbands help keep perspiration out of your eyes.

Style A are made of elastic cotton terry fabric that wraps all the way around your hairline. They are washable.

Style B have a thin elastic band and a lightweight cellulose foam pad to absorb perspiration on your forehead. They are disposable.

Style C snap onto the suspension of a hard hat or welding helmet to wick moisture from your forehead. They are made of washable cotton-terry fabric.

These pads have water-absorbent cooling crystals to relieve heat through evaporation. Soak in cold water for 20 minutes to cool you all day. Fasten to the hard-hat suspension with the hook and loop straps.

Add a layer of warmth to your hard hat. Use the hook and loop attachments to fasten liners to the suspension of your hat and to secure under your chin.

Nylon is water and wind resistant.

Cotton provides better breathability than nylon.

Polyester fleece insulation is moisture wicking to prevent moisture build up.

Acrylic fleece insulation is warmer than polyester.

Sherpa fleece insulation is warmer than other fleece linings. It is soft and thick, yet lightweight.

Liners with two layers of insulation have a layer of polypropylene fiber, as well as a layer of polyester fleece, for extra warmth.

Hard Hats

These Type I hard hats protect against blows from falling objects to the top of the head only.

Class E hard hats are proof-tested at 20,000 volts. Class C have not been tested for electrical protection.

Hard hats with a three-point chin strap stay securely on your head. They’re often worn at heights and in windy conditions, and during active movement such as climbing, working sideways, and working upside down. These hard hats have a foam shell that absorbs impact to reduce force on the neck and head.

Hard hats with ventilation holes have slots that increase air circulation to keep you cool.

Hard hats with reversible suspension can be worn backward without removing and reinstalling the suspension—just swing it to the opposite side.

Hard hats with a rain-trough brim have a rear gutter that channels water away from your neck.

Hard hats with a full brim have a wide front-to-back brim that provides added protection against sun, glare, splash, and rain.

Hard hats with mounting slots attach to face shields and earmuffs (not included).

Hard hats come with four-, six-, or eight-point suspensions—the more suspension points, the better the hard hat distributes the force of impact. Pinlock suspensions adjust with interlocking straps. Ratchet suspensions adjust with an easy-turn knob.
