Lift-Off Entry Door Hinges
The hinge pin is permanently attached to the frame leaf so you can quickly lift the door off the hinge without removing the pin. These hinges have mounting holes that form an industry-standard half-moon shape. The hinge leaves fit into cutouts (mortises) to mount flush with door and frame edges. Capacity is based on three hinges per door with a maximum door size of 7' Ht. × 3' Wd. × 1 3/4" Thick. To choose a door mounting location, stand on the pull side of the door—use a right-side hinge if the hinge is on the right or a left-side hinge if it’s on the left.
Chrome-plated low-carbon steel hinges have better corrosion resistance than primed low-carbon steel.
304 stainless steel hinges are more corrosion resistant than chrome-plated low-carbon steel. They also have good chemical resistance.
