Made of beryllium copper with an aluminum-bronze handle, these pullers satisfy OSHA requirements that specify nonsparking tools for locations where flammable vapors and combustible residues are present. They also are nonmagnetic. The corkscrew tip twists into material to provide a firm hold while the handle provides the necessary leverage for pulling. Also known as packing extractors, they are often used to extract packing material from pump and valve seals.
