Noncorrosive Silicone Sealants

Also known as neutral-cure sealants, these won't discolor copper, brass, and concrete. They’re non-sagging, so they won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces. Made from silicone, sealants are RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing).
Elongation and joint compression/expansion tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. Sealants that are good for joining dissimilar materials also work well in environments with wide temperature fluctuation.
Sealants that cannot be sold to California exceed local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

Noncorrosive Silicone Sealants with Material Certification

This sealant includes a material certificate with traceable lot number, test report, and product shelf life. Also known as neutral-cure, this sealant won't discolor copper, brass, and concrete. It’s non-sagging, so it won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces. Made from silicone, this sealant is RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing). It cannot be sold to California because it exceeds local regulatory limits on VOC (volatile organic compounds).
Elongation indicates flexibility—the higher the value is, the more a sealant can stretch. This sealant is good for use between dissimilar materials and in environments with wide temperature fluctuation.

Ready-to-Use Silicone Potting Compounds

No mixing required --these potting compounds come ready to apply. Use them to encase electronic assemblies for protection from dust, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Softer and more flexible than epoxies and urethanes with the widest temperature range, silicone potting compounds are the best choice for high-temperature applications and electronics exposed to thermal cycling. They have good moisture resistance but poor chemical and abrasion resistance. Silicones provide excellent electrical insulation. They're also known as RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing).

Optically Clear Two-Part Silicone Potting Compounds

Clear enough to read through, this UV-resistant potting compound allows optimal light transmission for use with LEDs, solar cells, and fiber optics. Use it to encase electronic assemblies for protection from dust, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Softer and more flexible than epoxies and urethanes with the widest temperature range, silicone potting compound is the best choice for high-temperature applications and electronics exposed to thermal cycling. It has good moisture resistance but poor chemical and abrasion resistance. Silicone provides excellent electrical insulation. It’s also known as RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing). Use a gun (sold separately) with the included mixer nozzle to dispense.
