Locking Pinch-Off Pliers
Clamp down on nonreinforced hose and tube to squeeze it shut, eliminating the need to drain the hose when working on pumps, heating and cooling systems, and fuel lines. Turn the screw to adjust the pressure and squeeze the handles to lock the jaws. These pliers stay clamped in place until you press the lever to release.

Locking Pliers

Curved-jaw pliers are the most common style and provide a good grip on a variety of shapes.

Bar-Style Locking Plier Clamps
Slide the upper jaw to adjust the opening size. These clamps hold larger workpieces than other locking plier clamps of similar size. Squeeze the handle to lock the clamp and press the release trigger to open it. Turn the adjusting screw to change the angle of the jaws up to 7° to clamp tapered workpieces.
