Metal- and X-Ray-Detectable Dust Brushes

Made with metal and chemical additives, the bristles and handles on these brushes won’t get past metal detectors or X-ray machines in your food facility. This detectability helps you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs. If brushes do come in contact with food, they’re FDA compliant.

Stainless steel staples and a resin secure the bristles in these brushes, so they won't fall into your line. To prevent bacteria from growing, the resin seals out water and polyester bristles won't absorb water. From top to bottom, these brushes resist chemicals, so you can use them with harsh cleaners.

Medium-bristle brushes are for light cleaning. Stiff-bristle brushes are durable and better for clearing thick layers of dust.

Metal- and X-Ray-Detectable Scrub Brushes with Extended-Reach Handle

Clean hard-to-reach areas in pharmaceutical and food-processing plants—these scrub brushes have metal and chemical additives that set off metal detectors and show up on an X-ray if they fall into your line. Their brush block and handle grip are bright blue, so they’re easy to find and retrieve. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs to make sure contaminated food doesn’t leave your plant. These scrub brushes are also FDA-compliant for direct contact with food.

The bristles are secured to these brushes with stainless steel staples to keep them from falling into the food. To prevent bacteria growth, the crevices around the staples are covered with epoxy resin, and the bristles themselves don’t retain moisture. Chemical and temperature resistant, the bristles, as well as the plastic handle grip, stand up to harsh sanitizers and cleaners.
