    High-Temperature Tape Wire Sleeving

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Wire Sleeving. High-Temperature Tape Wire Sleeving.
A mica and silicone rubber blend allows this sleeving to withstand intermittent heat up to 2100° F. It also creates a fire barrier around its contents. A good option for emergency patches, it can be quickly applied to hose or cable like tape. When wrapping, sleeving should overlap itself by half its width.

    Electrically Insulating Tape Wire Sleeving

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Wire Sleeving. Electrically Insulating Tape Wire Sleeving.
Wrap your wire and cable to prevent electricity and heat from dissipating, even in high-voltage areas. Often used near generators and transformers, an acrylic resin in this sleeving insulates and protects your components. The sleeving meets IEC 60371 for its material’s electrical insulation properties. You can wrap it like tape around wire and cable while they’re installed, so it’s great for emergency patches. Wrap more layers for more protection. Made of mica and glass between two layers of polyester film, this sleeving has high tensile strength and good resistance to scrapes.

    Electrically Insulating Mica Tubes

Image of Product. Front orientation. Mica. Electrically Insulating Mica Tubes.
Insulate electrical components in environments exposed to high heat. These tubes are often used to support wire leads in electric vehicle batteries. They provide greater vibration resistance than ceramic and withstand higher temperatures than plastic. They can operate continuously at temperatures up to 930° F, but if they stay above that temperature for too long, they may turn to carbon and stop insulating. Also known as muscovite mica.
Rigid—Saw, score, or cut to length with standard tools.
Wall Thickness—The thicker the wall, the better a tube can withstand high voltages, resist crushing, and hold up to heat cycling. Thinner walls allow for some heat transfer and are easier to cut.

    Extra-High-Temperature Electrically Insulating Mica Tubes

Image of Product. Front orientation. Mica. Extra-High-Temperature Electrically Insulating Mica Tubes.
Shield electrical parts in extremely hot areas, such as kilns and furnaces. These tubes maintain their insulating properties at extreme continuous operating temperatures, and can also withstand flashes of even hotter temperatures. However, if they stay above that temperature for too long, they may turn to carbon and stop insulating. They provide greater vibration resistance than ceramic and withstand higher temperatures than plastic. Also known as phlogopite mica.
Rigid—Saw, score, or cut to length with standard tools.
Wall Thickness—The thicker the wall, the better a tube can withstand high voltages, resist crushing, and hold up to heat cycling. Thinner walls allow for some heat transfer and are easier to cut.
