Long-Nose Locking Pliers

Long jaws reach workpieces in recessed areas. These pliers lock in a vise-like grip around a workpiece and stay clamped in place to leave your hands free. Turn the screw to adjust the pressure and squeeze the handles to lock. Pliers have combination jaws with a flat area for general purpose gripping and a curved area for round material.
Pliers with lever release open when you press the lever.
Pliers with quick release are easier to open with one hand than lever release—push the handles open with your fingers. They have plastic grips for comfort.
Pliers with wire cutter have a blade for occasional wire-cutting tasks.

Tight-Clearance Corrosion-Resistant Long-Nose Pliers

With thinner tips than standard long-nose pliers, these stainless steel tools fit into tight spaces and are good for environments where moisture and other contaminants are present. They resist corrosion that can hinder joint movement, but the jaws will wear more quickly than a steel tool. Also known as needle-nose and chain-nose pliers, use the long jaws to grip, bend, and twist wire and other small workpieces. Pliers have plastic grips for comfort. The spring-assisted jaws open automatically when you release the handles.
