Wood Pallets

Made from new, heat-treated wood, these pallets are stronger and more durable than what you’ll find at your local pallet yard. The edges are straight and the dimensions are consistent. Unlike pallets made from recycled wood, they’re free of cracks and other defects. They also last longer, although they’re not as durable as pallets made from plastic or metal. These pallets sit flush when stacked, so you can access entry points with your forks. All are stamped with ISPM 15 approval, so you can ship them anywhere in the world.
To store these pallets on a pallet rack, you’ll need a supporting deck surface.
42" × 42" pallets are sized to hold nine stacks of standard 5 gal. pails in a 3 × 3 grid. 48" × 48" pallets are sized to hold four standard 55 gal. drums in a 2 × 2 grid.
GMA pallets are the most common type of pallet in the United States. They’re made to specifications set by the Consumer Brands Association (CBA). EPAL 1 pallets, also known as Euro pallets, comply with the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). They’re built to European Pallet Association standards—right down to the type of nails used—and stamped with approval.
Note: Capacity while moving assumes the pallet is supported by standard 42" forks. For pallets 72" and deeper, moving capacity is based on 72” forks.

Aluminum Pallets

Lightweight yet sturdy, these aluminum pallets are only half the weight of steel alternatives. They’re welded together to create a durable platform that will outlast cardboard, wood, and plastic. Since aluminum is not flammable, you don't have to worry about these pallets posing a fire hazard. They also resist corrosion, so you can use them outside.
Also known as rackable pallets, they don’t require decking underneath, so you can put them directly on the beams of your pallet rack. Unlike nestable pallets, these pallets can be stored in stacks for easy forklift access. You can ship them anywhere in the world, since they’re exempt from ISPM 15 regulations.
Pallets with a vented surface are a good choice for refrigeration and washdown applications—the gaps allow cool air to flow through and water to drain out.
Pallets with a solid surface work well for transporting irregularly shaped goods, since they distribute weight evenly. They give full surface support, preventing narrow or small items from slipping through the cracks.
40" × 48" pallets are the most common size in the United States.

Shock-Absorbing Wood Pallets

Prevent fragile cargo from jolting or rattling on the road. These pallets have a thick foam layer to soften the blow from every pothole and bump. They’re often used to ship electronic racks. Since they don’t nest, you can access the forklift and pallet jack entry points even when they’re stacked. Ship these pallets anywhere in the world—they’re heat-treated to ISPM 15 standards and stamped with approval.
These pallets don’t have bottom support beams, so they’ll need a supporting deck surface for storage on a pallet rack.
48" deep pallets fit most 24-unit electronic racks.
57" deep pallets fit most 48-unit electronic racks.
Attach a ramp to wheel loads up or down. These ramps hook into holes on the pallet, so there’s no fasteners required.

Choose-a-Color Plastic Pallets

Create your own color-coding system with these vibrant pallets—red for perishable goods, green for rush deliveries, and orange for hazards. These pallets make it easy to know what’s inside a shipment without opening it up or reading a manifest. The vented surface improves air circulation, preventing hot spots in refrigerated storage. It also makes for easy draining when you wash these pallets down. Ship these pallets anywhere in the world—they’re exempt from ISPM 15 regulations.

Lightweight Cardboard Pallets

Strong enough to hold at least 1,600 lbs., yet lightweight enough to pick up with one hand. These pallets shave weight and freight costs off your shipments. They’re made of five layers of corrugated cardboard to resist bending or sagging like typical cardboard. Plus, they’re easy to recycle when you’re done. However, they don't stand up to wear and tear as well as plastic, wood, and metal alternatives. They work well for transporting irregularly shaped goods because their solid top spreads out the weight evenly. Ship them anywhere in the world—all are exempt from ISPM 15 regulations.
To store these pallets on a pallet rack, you’ll need a supporting deck surface.
Style A pallets don’t have bottom decking, so they’re more lightweight than Style B pallets.
Style B pallets are reinforced with bottom decking to handle heavier loads than Style A pallets.

Plastic Spill-Control Pallets

When spills happen, these pallets contain the mess. They’re made of polyethylene, so they won’t degrade from most chemicals. They also meet EPA standards for liquid storage. To minimize potential leak points, these pallets are built without a drain. You’ll need to pump or clean out liquids after a spill—remove the grating to access the interior.
When choosing a pallet, consider the surface area and capacity you need. For number of 55-gallon drums gives you a sense of the surface area of your pallet, while capacity tells you how much liquid it can hold. When used correctly, these pallets meet EPA 40 CFR 264.175. Choose a pallet that’s large enough to hold either 10% of the total capacity of all the containers on it or the full capacity of the largest container—whichever is greater.
Polyethylene pallets last longer than recycled polyethylene pallets.
Styles A and E have U-channel connectors that let you link multiple units of the same style to create a larger spill-control surface.
Styles A, B, and E have a low profile that makes it easy to load containers.
Style D have recessed rings that keep drums in place. You can use a forklift to remove the grating.
Nestable pallets fit within each other like cups to save you space. Stackable pallets sit flush when stacked, so you can access entry points with your forks.
Add a ramp to wheel drums onto your pallet with a hand truck.

Steel Spill-Control Pallets

A heavy duty solution for safely containing liquids. Made of 12 gauge steel, these pallets won’t crack if they’re hit and won't melt if there's a fire. All meet EPA regulations for storing hazardous liquids. However, they might corrode if exposed to chemicals. Remove the grating for easy cleaning.
When choosing a pallet, consider the surface area and capacity you need. For number of 55-gallon drums gives you a sense of the surface area of your pallet, while capacity tells you how much liquid it can hold. For your system to meet EPA 40 CFR 264.175, the pallet must hold either 10% of the total capacity of your shipment or the full capacity of the largest container—whichever is greater.
Style B pallets don’t nest, so you can access the forklift entry points even when they’re stacked.
Add a ramp to wheel drums onto your pallet with a hand truck.

Plastic Spill-Control Pallets for UN-Compliant Tanks

Built for intermediate bulk container (IBC) tanks, these pallets handle larger spills and heavier loads than other plastic pallets. They’re made of polyethylene plastic, so they’re good for use with chemicals, including acids. However, for environments with heavy wear and tear, steel pallets are the better choice. These pallets have a removable grating for easy cleaning.
When choosing a pallet, consider the surface area and capacity you need. For number of 275-gallon tanks gives you a sense of the surface area of your pallet, while capacity tells you how much liquid it can hold. When used correctly, these pallets meet EPA 40 CFR 264.175. Choose a pallet that’s large enough to hold either 10% of the total capacity of all the containers on it or the full capacity of the largest container—whichever is greater.
Pallets for 2 tanks have a single, continuous basin and can't be separated into individual pallets.
Pallets without a drain have fewer possible leak points, but they’re harder to clean after a spill. Pallets with a drain remove excess liquid, so you don’t need to remove the tanks or pump the liquid out.
Drape a box-shaped tarp (sold separately) over tanks stored outside to protect them from the elements.
Use a bucket (sold separately) to catch spills and drips when dispensing from the tank. The bucket holds up to three gallons. When the bucket fills too high, excess liquid is released into the pallet via an internal drain.
