Crimp these fittings onto steel pipe to form a tightly sealed connection that’s faster than threading or welding and doesn’t require heat. An internal gripping ring and rubber O-ring create a secure seal when crimped. They are designed to leak if fittings have not been crimped; a colored dot marks the leak path so it's easy to spot unsealed connections. These steel fittings are coated in zinc-nickel to resist corrosion, but will rust if frequently exposed to saltwater or harsh chemicals. They are comparable to Viega MegaPress steel fittings.

Fittings meet ANSI/ASME B31 code requirements for use in pressure piping systems.

Buna-N rubber O-rings hold up to natural gas, propane, diesel fuel, lubricants, and other oils. Fittings with these O-rings are often used in fuel gas systems and air lines. They meet the ANSI LC4/CSA 6.32 standard for fuel gas systems and comply with the International Fuel Gas Code.

Unions separate into three pieces. Unscrew and remove the center nut for quick access to a line.

Bolt two same-size flanges together with a gasket (sold separately) to create a removable connection to valves, pumps and other equipment.

Jaw and ring sets include three jaws, three rings, and one ring actuator jaw. Jaws are for pipe sizes 1/2 to 1; they fit directly into the crimping tool. High-Pressure Nipples for Compressed Gas

Commonly used in high-pressure welding applications, these nipples connect your tank to the inlet of a pressure regulator. One side has a threaded pipe end and the other side has a rounded end that sits inside a threaded nut (sold separately) so you can make a threaded connection.

Brass nipples have good corrosion resistance and are softer than 316 stainless steel nipples, so they're easier to thread together. Chrome-plated brass nipples have better corrosion and wear resistance than unplated brass nipples and have a bright, shiny appearance.

Nipples that tighten by hand should be paired with a nut with a plastic grip.

Nuts for High-Pressure Nipples for Compressed Gas

Slide a high-pressure hose nipple for compressed gas into one of these nuts to connect a pipe to the inlet of a pressure regulator. They are also known as CGA (Compressed Gas Association) nuts and inlet nuts.

Brass nuts have good corrosion resistance and are softer than 316 stainless steel nuts, so they're easier to thread together. Aluminum-plated brass nuts have better corrosion and wear resistance than unplated brass.

Hose Crimping Tool and Fitting Sets for Compressed Gas

Sets contain a crimping tool and a variety of fittings, nuts, and ferrules so you can connect pressure regulators, torches, and other components of your welding system. Fittings are also known as CGA (Compressed Gas Association) fittings. They are brass for good corrosion resistance.

Barbed adapters let you adapt to a threaded end so you can connect welding hose to pressure regulators or torches. They consist of a barbed shaft with a rounded end that sits inside a threaded nut so you can make a threaded hose connection.

Barbed connectors are also known as hose menders and splicers. Use them to connect lengths of hose or to repair damaged hose. Slide the barbed end into welding hose and use a hose ferrule and the crimping tool to secure the fitting to hose.

Threaded connectors let you attach threaded welding hose to pressure regulators and torches.

Fittings with left-hand threads are identified with a notch in the nut.

Barbed Hose Fittings for Compressed Gas

Commonly used in low-pressure welding applications, these fittings connect downstream of your tank and pressure regulator. Slide the barbed end into rubber hose and secure with a crimp-on hose ferrule. Fittings are brass for good corrosion resistance.

Adapters let you adapt to a threaded end so you can connect welding hose to torches or pressure regulators. They consist of a barbed shaft with a rounded end that sits inside a threaded CGA nut (sold separately) so you can make a threaded hose connection. Adapters with a spiral barbed end twist into hose for an easier installation than adapters with a standard barb.

Quick-Disconnect Hose Couplings for Compressed Gas

Use these couplings to quickly link and unlink welding hoses, torches, and pressure regulators. They consist of a plug and socket that are sold together as a set of two—you’ll get one right-hand connection for oxygen and one left-hand connection for fuel gas. The connections are noninterchangeable and color coded so you can’t mix lines. The male threaded ends attach to threaded welding hose, and the female threaded ends attach to a torch or pressure regulator. To connect couplings, push the plug into the socket; the sleeve on the socket has a spring-loaded lock for gas-tight connections. To disconnect, pull back on the socket sleeve and twist to release the plug. The sockets have a shut-off valve that stops the flow when the coupling is separated so gas won’t leak from the line. The sockets also have a built-in check valve to prevent gas backflow. Couplings are also known as CGA (Compressed Gas Association) couplings. They are brass for good corrosion resistance.

Couplings with left-hand threads are identified with a notch in the nut.
