Speed Reducers for Roller Conveyors

Also known as pallet brakes, these mount underneath rollers on a gravity conveyor and create friction on the rollers to control the conveyor's speed. Speed reducers have an internal brake that gradually engages as the speed of the rollers increases. For best results, the spacing of the reducers should be equal to the length of the material you're conveying.
