Choosing an Electrical Switch

22 mm Panel-Mount Build-Your-Own Plastic Switches

Choose an actuator and contact block to make your own switch. Actuators are rated NEMA 3S, 4X and 13 for protection from dust, outdoor environments, corrosion, oil, and washdowns. Use legend plates (not included) to label switches. BACO Controls switches are only compatible with BACO manufactured legend plates.

Illuminated push-button actuators require a contact block with a bulb holder. If wiring the switch and the bulb to the same circuit, the circuit voltage must not exceed bulb voltage.

Key actuators are keyed alike, so they will all open with the same key.

IP67 rated actuators are protected from dust and temporary submersion.

Padlockable covers prevent unauthorized use.

Contact blocks with mounting latch accept additional contact blocks to control more circuits.

Mounting tools make it easier to install switches in crowded panels.

Key actuators are keyed alike, so they will all open with the same key.

Choose an actuator and contact block to make your own switch. All switches are rated NEMA 4, 13, and IP65 for protection from washdowns and oil/coolant spraying.

Actuators spring back (momentary), but can be wired to stay switched (maintained).

Add a bulb to illuminate actuators. If wiring the switch and the bulb to the same circuit, the circuit voltage must not exceed bulb voltage.

Use removal tools to replace bulbs, lenses, and contact blocks.

Mounting wrenches make it easier to install switches in crowded panels.
