Thin and easy to cut, use this 99.5% pure platinum foil in labs and electronics production. It won’t oxidize, won’t corrode in most environments, and has low thermal and electrical resistance. Platinum is often used to make gaskets, even in high-vacuum applications, because it’s soft enough to create a good seal when pressed between two flanges, but won’t damage the flanges so you can reuse them. It also works for high temperatures because it has a higher melting point than gold and other sealing materials.
Certificates with a traceable lot number are available for these products. Download certificates from ACTIVITY after your order ships.
