    All stations resist some impact, but metal stations are stronger than plastic stations.

    Styles D and E—Styles D and E attach like a padlock onto doorknobs. The box and shackle have a rubber protector to prevent marring.
    Style F—Style F mounts over the top edge of doors up to 1 7/8" thick and secures with screws. The box has plastic on the back to protect your door's surface.
