Don't see the shim stock you need? Just tell us what you're looking for and we'll get it for you.
These sheets are manufactured from Rulon PTFE, a PTFE material that’s been modified with an epoxy-coated fiber. In addition to having the superior chemical and temperature resistance of PTFE, they have excellent impact resistance and a super-slippery surface that resists wear. These easy-to-machine sheets are nonabsorbent, so they won’t swell when exposed to water. They’re also good electrical insulators.
Grade J is the most slippery of the Rulon materials and is often used to make gaskets and wear strips.

This shim stock is color-coded by thickness for easy identification. Cut it into custom shapes to fit your application. Shim stock is corrosion resistant. Sheets come flat packed.
Plastic shim stock works well in light duty applications. It's easier to cut than aluminum stock.

Even when subjected to heavy compression, these rigid polyimide sheets won't crack. To use outdoors, add metal jacketing.
Sheets with a density of 12 lbs./cu. ft. are easier to cut than denser polyimide insulation sheets, which makes them good for die-punching applications. They are not, however, good for machining.
