Ultra-Machinable Delrin® Acetal Strips

These strips resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be easily machined to close tolerances. They also have a naturally slippery, wear-resistant surface. The addition of PTFE provides a more slippery, wear-resistant surface than standard Delrin® acetal resin. These strips resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be machined to close tolerances. Fabricate them into pump components, gears, and bearings. Multipurpose Flame-Retardant Garolite G-10/FR4 Sheets and Bars

A good all-around choice, these Garolite G-10/FR4 sheets and bars are strong, machinable, and electrically insulating. They're made of a flame-retardant epoxy resin with fiberglass fabric reinforcement. Garolite G-10/FR4 is also called epoxy-grade industrial laminate and phenolic.

Shim Stock

Cut into custom shapes to create shims that suit your needs. With thickness tolerances as fine as a strand of hair, the shims will precisely align, space, and level components on dies, presses, and machinery.

You can stack multiple shims to achieve your exact thickness, but stacking more than four may cause them to shift. Remember, fewer shims are better, so a couple of thicker shims are more stable than a bunch of thin shims.

Ultra-Chemical-Resistant PTFE—The most chemical-resistant shim stock we offer, it stands up to the widest range of harsh acids, bases, solvents, and corrosive cleaners, even at temperatures up to 500° F. It also won't mar delicate surfaces.

Ultra-Low-Friction UHMW Polyethylene Film

Widely used as a protective barrier against abrasion and wear, this UHMW film has a slippery surface that prevents sticking.

Skived—Skived products are more likely to curl than extruded and molded products.
