Slippery UHMW Polyethylene Sheets, Bars, and Strips
In addition to having a low-friction surface that prevents sticking and binding, this tough, impact- and wear-resistant material handles the scuffs, scrapes, and strikes that other plastics can’t. With superior wear resistance in repetitive processes, these sheets and bars resist wear caused by abrasion. PEEK is often used as a lightweight substitute for metal parts in chemical-processing applications.

These PEEK sheets can be machined to tight tolerances for use in electrical and semiconductor parts, such as test sockets. With a ceramic filler, they have excellent hardness and rigidity. The filler also acts as an effective barrier against gas and fluid permeation. These sheets maintain their shape when exposed to temperature changes. They also withstand wear from abrasion and repetitive processes.

Clear Scratch- and UV-Resistant Acrylic Sheets and Bars
Often used for windows, signs, and windshields, these extruded acrylic sheets and bars offer nearly the same performance as cast acrylic at a lower price. They’re a better choice for outdoor use than polycarbonate because they are UV and scratch resistant and will maintain clarity over time.
