Pocket-Sized Pulley Aligning Lasers

Slip this laser into your pocket so it's on hand to align belts, pulleys, chain, and sprockets. Place the tool against the side of your pulley or sprocket and project the laser onto the included target to detect angular or offset misalignment. They mount magnetically, so you don’t need any fasteners to secure them. The surface of the laser is machined, so it sits flush against flat surfaces for easy and precise alignment. They’re powered by a disposable battery, so they’re portable.
Style B lasers have a threaded tip, so they’re compatible with converters that change the shape of the laser, so you can perform a variety of tasks with the same tool.

Aligning Lasers
Project a bright, vivid reference point to hang light fixtures, align workbenches, or even guide your machine vision camera. These lasers are small enough to fit on virtually any machine.
Dot lasers work well for indicating a drill point and positioning workpieces on lathes, presses, and CNC machines. Those with multiple dot sizes are suitable for both long-range positioning and close-up precision tasks. Larger dot sizes are often used to install pipe over long distances. Twist the head to adjust the dot size.
Red lasers are best viewed indoors and at short distances. Green lasers are ten times brighter than red lasers. They’re easy to view, even in brightly lit rooms, outdoor locations, and over long distances. Magnetic mounts (sold separately) attach to steel surfaces, so you don't have to drill holes in your machinery. They’ll hold the laser at a fixed angle. Rotary mounts (sold separately) help you check whether shafts, spindles, and other rotating parts are perfectly aligned with equipment. Mount them to the face of your rotating part so your laser shines directly at an opposite surface. If the laser moves in a circle instead of staying still, your rotating part is off-center. Attach the mount to your equipment using the magnetic base or mounting holes. You can also use the included stud to insert these mounts into a chuck.
