Easy-to-Machine Hard Fiber Tubes

- Color: Gray
- Max. Temperature: 235° F
- Tensile Strength: 9,000-21,000 psi (Good)
- Impact Strength: 1.8-2.5 ft.-lbs./in. (Good)
- Hardness: Rockwell R80 (Hard)
- For Use Outdoors: No
- Specifications Met: MIL-F-10336, MIL-F-1148, UL 94 HB
Readily machined and punched into custom parts, these hard fiber tubes are often made into bushings and washers. Also known as vulcanized fiber, they're constructed from lightweight cotton fabric that's been chemically treated to make it hard and dense.
