Stainless Steel Armored Micro M12 Cords
Step on or roll carts and platform trucks over these M12 cords without crushing them. A protective layer of stainless steel makes these the most crush- and abrasion-resistant M12 cords we offer. It also prevents damage from pests that chew through cords. The stainless steel and PVC outer layer keep moisture from corroding the cord, so they can be used outdoors and near chemicals as well. Despite the stainless steel covering, these cords are still flexible enough to route around equipment. Threaded ends create a tight connection that seals out contaminants and won’t shake loose from the vibration of automated machines.
These cords have a standardized code layout to reduce the chances of accidentally mis-mating them. All are A-coded to send signal and power to AC and DC devices. A-coded cords are often used with sensors, actuators, and motors in automated systems. They also connect devices to IO Link controllers and within fieldbus systems, such as Profibus and DeviceNet.
When mated or capped, these cords meet IP ratings. IP67 cords withstand temporary submersion.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP ratings when not in use.
Note: Sockets may have extra holes on the face that are not used.

Single Pair Ethernet Cords

These cords contain a single pair of twisted wires, making them lighter and more flexible than other Ethernet cords. They’re good for transportation, robotics, and automation applications. Cords have a metal locking tab to create a more secure connection than cords with RJ45 connectors, and are easier to install than coaxial cords and cords with M12 connectors. They transmit power as well as data, making them useful in places without an easily accessible power supply. These cords are shielded to block out signal interference from nearby devices.
Cords meet IEEE standards for data transmission speeds and protocols. All meet EN 60811-404 for resistance to mineral oil. They’re compliant with IEC 60332-1-2 for flame retardancy and IEC 63171-6 for single pair Ethernet cord dimensions and compatibility.

Vehicle Wire

Also known as primary wire, this wire meets SAE standards for low-voltage wiring in trucks, boats, trailers, and other vehicles.
With cross-linked polyethylene insulation, TXL and GXL wire withstands higher temperatures and resists abrasion better than GPT wire. TXL wire has thin walls, so it’s lightweight. It’s often used in dashboards and other interior jobs. GXL wire has thick walls, making it suitable for engine compartments.

Vehicle Wire Assortments

- Use for vehicles
- Flexible
- Temperature Range:
GPT Wire: -40° to 185° F
TXL and GXL Wire: -40° to 255° F
Keep spools of vehicle wire in multiple colors on hand. They meet SAE J1128 for low-voltage wiring in trucks, boats, trailers, and other vehicles.
GPT wire, or primary wire, has PVC insulation that makes it useful as a general purpose wire.
TXL and GXL wire have cross-linked polyethylene insulation that withstands higher temperatures and has more abrasion resistance than PVC insulation. TXL wire has thin walls, so it’s small and lightweight. It’s often used for dashboards and other car interior applications. GXL wire has thick walls, making it suitable for engine compartments.

Micro M12 Screw-Together Connectors
Because they tightly thread to M12 connections, these connectors won’t let contaminants in or come loose from vibration in rugged industrial environments and automated systems as they send power and signal or just power to your equipment. Their poles and keyways adhere to standard coding layouts, reducing the chance you’ll mismatch connectors.
A- and C-coded connectors send both power and signal, while K-, L-, S-, and T-coded connectors only send power. Choose A-coded connectors for AC and DC sensors, actuators, motors, light curtains, and other devices. They’re often used to connect equipment to IO Link controllers and within Profibus, DeviceNet, and other fieldbus systems. T-coded connectors work with DC devices and are often used on passive distribution boxes and to power IO Link modules.
Receptacles thread into panels and walls, making them best for stationary or permanent installations such as control panels. 90° elbow connectors run your cord along the side of equipment, so they fit behind machines and in tight spaces.
Connectors with screw terminals hold wire by tightening a screw.
When mated, all connectors are IP rated to seal out dust. IP67 and IP68 rated connectors can withstand brief submersion. NEMA 12 rated connectors can also be splashed with water, oil, and coolant.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP and NEMA ratings when not in use.
Note: Sockets and female receptacles may have extra holes on their face that are not used.

Shielded Micro M12 Screw-Together Connectors
Block signal interference from nearby devices, such as motors and transmitters, while maintaining a strong, stable connection for M12 threads. The shielding on these connectors maintains signal integrity and minimizes signal loss between equipment. The threaded housing creates a secure connection that withstands the shaking and vibrating of industrial automation.
A-coded, these connectors are often used to connect equipment to IO Link controllers and devices within Profibus, DeviceNet, and other fieldbus systems. They work with both AC and DC devices such as sensors, motors, and light curtains. Poles and keyways on their face adhere to standard coding layouts to reduce the chance you’ll mismatch connections.
All meet IP ratings when either mated or capped. IP67 rated connectors are protected from dust and temporary submersion.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP ratings when not in use.
Note: They may have extra holes on the face that are not used.

Food Industry Micro M12 Screw-Together Ethernet Connectors

FDA compliant to safely touch food and threaded for a tight hold, these connectors won’t vibrate loose as they send high-speed data to sensors and other automated devices in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical plants. They stand up to brief submersion as well as high-heat washdowns and harsh cleaners common to food lines, thanks to their IP ratings, TPE insulation, and stainless steel and polypropylene housing. Their insulation also means they’re flexible and won’t break down from abrasion or UV exposure. Overall, they’re more rugged than traditional RJ45 connectors.
To reduce the risk of signal loss between equipment, these connectors block signal interference from nearby devices. Poles and keyways on their face adhere to standard coding layouts, keeping you from mis-mating connections. D coded, these connectors are often used within Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCat systems. They can also power devices as they send data, so you don’t need a separate power cord. But, your device must be Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible.
When choosing an Ethernet connector, make sure you match or exceed your network’s category industry designation. These connectors are backward compatible—for example, a Category 6 connector will work in a Category 5 network, but it’ll only run at the Category 5 speed.
