Autocorrecting Precision Panel-Mount Temperature Controllers





For high accuracy in applications with fluctuating conditions, these controllers have proportional-integral-derivative (PID) software with fuzzy logic that learns system behavior and automatically compensates for changes. They read temperature with a highly sensitive thermocouple or RTD probe (sold separately) in critical process applications and have a single primary output to turn heating equipment on or off at a specified temperature. All fit DIN cutouts for installation into instrument panels. Use the keypad to set the actuation point. Controllers are auto/manual selectable. They meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
Mechanical relays actuate circuits directly. All are single pole, single throw (SPST) and turn circuits from off to on (normally open).
Signal relays output 4-20 mA current to actuate equipment on a current loop.
Solid-state relays actuate an external relay (not included). They have a longer service life than mechanical and signal relays.
To mount 1/16 DIN controllers to a surface or DIN rail, add DIN-rail/surface-mount adapters. To convert larger cutouts to fit 1/16 DIN controllers, add DIN cutout adapters.

Autocorrecting Washdown Precision Panel-Mount Temperature Controllers




The faceplate is sealed to meet NEMA 4X and IP66 for protection in washdown environments with splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust. The rear case meets IP20. These controllers have proportional-integral-derivative (PID) software with fuzzy logic that learns system behavior and automatically compensates for changes to achieve high accuracy in applications with fluctuating conditions. They read temperature with a highly sensitive thermocouple probe (sold separately) in critical process applications to turn heating equipment on or off at a specified temperature. All fit into instrument panels with DIN cutouts. Set actuation points with the keypad.
Controllers with automatic reset turn machines back on once the temperature decreases. Controllers with automatic/manual reset give you the choice to have machines turn back on either when the temperature drops or you reset their switch.
Controllers with 1/16 DIN trade size have one alarm relay.
Controllers with 1/8 and 1/4 DIN trade size have two alarm relays.

High-Limit Precision Panel-Mount Temperature Controllers


To protect equipment and personnel, these controllers shut down your machine when it gets too hot and won’t let it turn back on until they’re reset. Mount them to DIN panel cutouts in your heating equipment. You can reset them by hand or remotely so long as the sensor is below the set temperature. These controllers require a thermocouple (sold separately) to read temperature and have a single primary output to turn heating equipment on or off at a specified temperature. Time-Cycled Temperature Controllers
These controllers turn on and off in short cycles to continuously maintain a stable set temperature. They require a separate thermometer to calibrate and monitor temperature. Adjust the ratio of on to off time with the dial.
Mechanical relay actuates one circuit directly. It is single pole, single throw (SPST) and turns the circuit from on to off (normally closed).
Solid-state relay actuates an external relay (not included). It has a longer service life than a mechanical relay.
