Slide these pins out of cramped assemblies in either direction to add or remove parts. They come with two rings that snap into a groove at each end, so the pins can’t slide out or shake loose. The rings take up less space than cotter pins, so they won’t interfere with nearby moving parts. They’re often used with rod ends, hydraulic cylinders, and other pivoting components.
These pins require retaining ring pliers to insert and remove the included rings.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these pins resist rusting. They're strong enough to fasten most components but won't withstand stress and vibration as well as steel.
