Adhesive Back—Adhesive-back message plates stick to surfaces. Use them when you only have access to one side of a surface, or when components behind a panel could be damaged by bolts or rivets.

ABS—ABS message plates are the most common option for rotary engravers. Don't use them with laser engravers since they will burn.

Acrylic Plastic—Acrylic message plates work well with laser engravers, which engrave quickly and create complex designs. They are also compatible with rotary engravers. Resistant to UV rays, these plates won’t fade in the sun.
