    Compact Pressure Switches

    With a round body that’s at least one-third thinner than traditional pressure switches, these fit in tight, cramped spaces. They’re often built into pumps and hydraulic systems with limited space in order to turn equipment on and off, activate automated controls, or signal alarms when they reach a set pressure. These switches are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can either turn one device from off to on (normally open) or on to off (normally closed). They also meet at least one American, Canadian, or European safety standard.

    Styles H and L—Styles H and L have internal and external threads, so you can attach these switches to a male or female pipe connection. Styles A-C, E-J, and L meet at least one safety standard.
    IP65 Enclosure Rating—IP65 rated switches can be lightly rinsed.
    IP66 Enclosure Rating—IP66 switches withstand washdowns.
    NEMA 1 Enclosure Rating—NEMA 1 rated switches should only be used indoors.
    NEMA 4 Enclosure Rating and NEMA 4X Enclosure Rating—NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X rated switches can be used in dirty and wet areas exposed to washdowns and the weather. NEMA 4X also has increased protection against corrosion, similar to 304 stainless steel.

    Prevent changes to the set pressure that activates equipment—these switches come ready to use at your preferred setpoint. Often used to turn equipment on and off when a set pressure is reached, they can also be used to activate automated controls or signal alarms. They’re single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can either turn one device from off to on (normally open) or on to off (normally closed).
    NEMA 4 and 13 rated, they seal out dirt, oil, and water from washdowns. These switches are also UL and C-UL recognized components and are CE marked, so they meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.

    Manual On/Off Lever

    Activate or deactivate your electric water pump based on water pressure. These switches turn your pump off when pressure increases to the set pressure and on when pressure drops to the reset pressure. All are NEMA rated to stand up to some corrosion, but they shouldn’t be used outdoors. UL listed and CSA certified, switches meet American and Canadian safety standards.
    Low-Pressure Cutoff—Switches with low-pressure cutoff turn your pump off if water pressure dips 10 psi lower than the reset pressure. This stops the system from pumping when there’s an issue in your line, such as a leak or break, to avoid flooding or other damage. These switches will also resume pump control with their previous setpoints when turned back on.
    Pressure Switches with Manual On/Off Lever—Use switches with a manual on/off lever to turn off your system for maintenance or for long periods of time. When you turn them back on, they’ll resume pump control and remember their pressure setpoints.
    Pressure Switches with Pressure Surge Protection—Switches with pressure surge protection won’t activate during brief periods of high pressure. They’re often used in systems that have frequent pressure spikes.

    When these switches reach either of their two set pressures—both of which can be controlled from the display—they send digital signals to your programmable logic controller (PLC) to activate automated controls. This means you could turn on a pump at one setpoint if pressure drops too low and open a valve at another if pressure rises too high. These switches could also be used to signal an alarm before switching off a pump. For remote control and monitoring from your PLC or PC, connect an IO Link controller (not included). You’ll also need to set one of the outputs to use IO Link instead of a PNP or NPN signal.
    Change your setpoint, reset point, scaling, and other settings using the display’s buttons. An adjustable reset point means you can control the amount of pressure change before the switch resets, also known as deadband or differential. Choose anywhere within the setpoint range for your reset point. The head rotates, so you can view the display from the best angle. To reduce stress on pipes in your pressure system, secure these switches against a wall or other structure with a mounting bracket (sold separately). Use these switches with an M12 cable (sold separately) to quickly connect and disconnect them.
    All are rated IP65 and IP67, so they seal out dust and water from washdowns and brief submersion. UL and C-UL listed, all meet U.S. and Canadian safety standards.

    Electronic Pressure Switches

    When these switches reach a set pressure, they send electronic signals to your programmable logic controller (PLC) to activate automated controls or alarms. Easily adjust the setpoint by twisting the external ring. An indicating pointer and incremental markings make sure adjustments are precise. When you have your setpoint, tighten the locking ring to prevent unintentional changes. Pair these switches with an M12 socket to quickly connect and disconnect them.
    Rated IP67, these switches seal out dust and water from temporary submersion. All are UL and C-UL listed as well as CE marked, which means they meet U.S., Canadian, and European safety standards.

When they reach the set pressure, they power equipment, signal controls, or trigger alarms. They’re single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). In addition to being UL listed and CSA certified, these switches are CE marked, so they also meet European safety standards.
    All switches are IP and NEMA rated for use outdoors and protection from some corrosion, dust, and spraying water.

    Choose when these switches reset to control the pressure range between when they activate and deactivate, commonly referred to as deadband and differential. You can adjust their reset point anywhere along the setpoint range. When they reach the set pressure, these switches power equipment, signal controls, or trigger alarms. They’re single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can either turn one device from off to on (normally open) or on to off (normally closed). UL listed and CSA certified, all meet American and Canadian safety standards. Those that are CE marked meet European safety standards. All protect against some corrosion.

    Adjustable-Reset Pressure Switches with Digital Display

    Kick off automated controls, signal alarms, or activate equipment based on pressure changes while checking the pressure, setpoint, and reset point on the display. The adjustable reset point lets you control the amount of pressure change, also known as deadband and differential, before the switch resets. Adjust it anywhere within the setpoint range. Turn the external adjustment knob by hand to set pressure quickly. These are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).
    To power the display, these switches need a separate electrical input from the one used for switching.
    These switches are IP and NEMA rated, so they’re dust tight and protected against water from washdowns and weather, as well as sprays of oil and coolant.

    With multiple ports, these switches maintain the air pressure of your electric air compressor, while also including ports for up to three air-powered devices, reducing the complexity of your air system setup. These switches turn off the compressor when it reaches the set pressure and on when the pressure drops to the reset point. They have an air exhaust valve, so when they shut off, they automatically release air between the compressor’s cylinder and check valve. This reduces stress on the motor to extend its life and makes for easier startups. All are NEMA rated to protect from dirt and stand up to some corrosion, but they shouldn’t be used outdoors. UL listed, CSA certified, and CE marked, they meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
    Manual On/Off Lever—Switches with a manual on/off lever let you turn off your system for maintenance or extended periods of time. When you flip the lever back on, the switch will automatically have the setpoint and reset point from its last use.

    Dual-Setpoint Electronic Pressure Switches for Compressed Air

    Compatible with most air systems, these switches send digital signals to a programmable logic controller (PLC) to trigger separate processes when they reach either of their two set pressures. For example, they’ll activate a compressor if the pressure is too low or a relief valve if the pressure is too high. Or use them to signal an alarm before switching off a compressor. Some of these switches also work with liquids and gases, so they can be built into hydraulic systems and wet or humid environments, such as cleaning lines.
    Monitor your pressure on the display and change your setpoints, reset points, scaling, and other settings using the buttons. An adjustable reset point means you can control the amount of pressure change before the switch resets, also known as deadband or differential. Choose anywhere within the setpoint range for your reset point. Add a panel-mount bracket (sold separately) to mount these switches to a control panel for easy viewing and adjusting.
    Rated IP65, they seal out dust and water from washdowns. Switches are UL and C-UL recognized components and CE marked to meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.

    Dual-Setpoint Electronic Pressure Switches

    When a set pressure is reached, these switches can turn equipment on and off, activate automated controls, or signal alarms. They have an internal setpoint adjustment with a sliding cover to prevent accidental setting changes. They’re single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can either turn one device from off to on (normally open) or on to off (normally closed).
    NEMA rated, they seal out dust and water from washdowns and the weather. These switches also meet UL 508, are CE marked, and are UL and C-UL recognized components, so they meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.

    Sanitary Pressure and Vacuum Switches

    When these 3-A certified switches reach a set pressure or vacuum, they trigger controls and alarms in food-processing, pharmaceutical, and biotech lines. They have a sleeve to shield internal parts from water and contaminants. Their surfaces are polished and their seams are continuously welded, so cleaning is easy and there’s little room for bacteria to grow. Made of 316 stainless steel, these switches stand up to harsh cleaners and sanitizers without rusting. Rated IP67 and NEMA 6, they’re dust tight and protected from washdowns and temporary submersion.
    They connect using the same quick-clamp fittings (also known as tri-clamp fittings) that are common in sanitary lines, because they’re easy to take apart for cleaning. This end has a diaphragm that protects from corrosion and covers threads to keep them clean. The diaphragm is filled with 99.5% pure USP food-grade glycerin, reducing the risk of contamination if the diaphragm fails. The serial number is laser etched on the diaphragm to reduce crevices.
