    Standard-Wall Stainless Steel Threaded Pipe Nipples and Pipe Assortments

    Keep a variety of lengths of pipe and pipe nipples on hand for areas where corrosion is a concern. These assortments have threaded pipe, which you can take apart as needed for maintenance and repair. They are designed for low-pressure applications. This pipe is welded, so it has a weld bead on the inside. Fully threaded pipe is also known as a close nipple; it is threaded on each end to the center.
    304/304L Stainless Steel—Pipe holds up in humid, damp, and washdown environments but will corrode if exposed to salt water or chemicals.
    316/316L Stainless Steel—Pipe is the most corrosion resistant. It stands up to wet environments, just like 304 stainless steel pipe, but unlike 304 stainless steel, it will not corrode from salt water, chlorine solutions, and chemicals.
