Pentagon Head Screws
The five-sided head provides tamper resistance by making these screws difficult to remove without special tools. Install or remove with 5-point sockets (sold separately). Also known as penta-bolts and 5-point screws, they are commonly used on water and gas valves. They are made from 18-8 stainless steel, which has good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic. Length is measured from under the head.

5-Point Impact Sockets
Turn 5-point tamper-resistant nuts and bolts often found on water and gas valves. The walls of the sockets are thicker and more flexible than standard sockets, so they can handle the high torque and force of impact tools without cracking.
