Covers

Seal out moisture to protect your connection. Covers are lined with a sticky gel, so you don't need to mix or pour a potting compound yourself. They’re rated IP08 to withstand splashes, rain, and humidity. To repair or expand your circuit, open the cover and remove the wires so you can reuse them. However, you'll need to replace the splice and cover after you open the cover and remove the gel.

Crimp-On Butt Splices

Extend a run or repair damaged wire instead of installing a new line. Squeeze the wire splice with a crimping tool for a secure end-to-end connection.

Vinyl Plastic Insulation—Our basic insulation covers the wire to prevent short circuits. It won’t break down from dirt, grime, and occasional twists and tugs.

Nylon Insulation—In addition to preventing short circuits, this wear-resistant insulation protects wire from vibration and rubbing against nearby edges.

Double Crimp—The choice for wire that’s frequently pulled, bent, or vibrated. Crimp the splice twice on each end for an extra-strong grip on the wire.

Inline Entry

These tap/connectors join larger wire sizes, such as power and control cable in distribution panels. Insert your main wire into a port, then insert tap wires into the other ports and tighten the set screws. The wires lock in place for a consistent and durable connection.

Single-Sided Entry—Insert all your wires from the same side. The slim profile fits better in crowded panels and boxes than dual-sided entry tap/connectors.

Dual-Sided Entry—Stagger multiple wires running from opposite directions—especially rigid wire that won't bend around the connector. For a safe flow of current, attach only one wire per port. Wires connected on both sides may overload the port, causing the connector to overheat and fail.

Inline Entry—Connect wires from opposite directions to create a straight run. Similar to butt splices.

Aluminum and Copper (For Joining Dissimilar Metals)—Aluminum and copper don't play well together, but these connectors keep them in line. They cover the wires with an antioxidant compound so the aluminum wire—and the whole connection—won't oxidize and corrode.

DIN Rail Adapter	Covers

Flip a clamp onto your wire instead of crimping to speed up installations, then reuse these connectors later. The clamp secures and disconnects wires without damaging them. Choose these connectors for setups that change often, such as prototypes and testing. They even have test sockets to safely test voltage after installation.

DIN Rail Mounting Adapters—Clip connectors onto DIN 3 rail to keep them organized and easily accessible.

Covers—Seal out moisture to protect your connection. Covers are lined with a sticky gel, so you don't need to mix or pour a potting compound yourself. They’re rated IP08 to withstand splashes, rain, and humidity. To repair or expand your circuit, open the cover and remove the wires so you can reuse them. However, you'll need to replace the splice and cover after you open the cover and remove the gel.

Set Screw Butt Splices

These splices connect thicker wires than crimp-on butt splices—up to 1000 MCM. Tighten the set screw onto the wire instead of crushing the body, like you do with compression butt splices. That makes these splices reusable and easier to install.

They extend or terminate electrical connections in branch circuits, such as light fixtures and electronic devices. Push wire into place without the need for an installation tool. Split-Bolt Splices

Heat-Shrink Crimp-On Wire Connectors

A step up in grip strength and strain relief over standard crimp-on wire connectors. First, twist your wires together and crimp them in the connector. Then, apply a heat gun to shrink the insulation and hold wires securely under tension and vibration. Single-Sided Entry	Offset Entry

Plugged and sealed at every opening, these tap/connectors protect wire from groundwater and rocky soil. The trim-to-size port plugs create a tight seal where the wire enters. The other plugs have double O-rings to seal off gaps around the set screws.

Single-Sided Entry—Insert all your wires from the same side. The slim profile fits better in crowded panels and boxes than dual-sided entry tap/connectors.

	Covers

Lay the main wire into your tap on the first try instead of poking and threading. The tap wire connects parallel to the tap or at 90°, so the tap will slide into your setup at different angles. Strip both wires and slide off the screw plate before installation. Tighten the set screws onto both wires for a secure connection.

Watertight Reducing Insulation-Piercing Butt Splices

Connect two components with different wire sizes, such as an air compressor and its control panel. Also known as step-down splices, these splices join a larger wire and a smaller wire end to end. The larger and smaller openings are color coded so you don't have to measure and mark them yourself. You can snap splices together to create the exact setup you need.

A gel filler seals out water to keep your wires completely dry and conductive.
