Screw-In Base Floodlight Bulbs

PAR38

Medium (Standard Household)

Often used in recessed can fixtures and track lighting, these bulbs produce a focused beam of light. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. Bulbs with a neutral light appearance are commonly used in workspaces. Bulbs with a cool light appearance have white/blue tones and are good for inspecting. A bulb’s estimated yearly energy cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.

PAR bulbs have narrow beam angles that provide more focused beams of light than other floodlights. A short length allows them to fit in small can fixtures without protruding.

LED bulbs last longer and are more efficient than other technologies. They generate little heat and withstand vibration. Plastic LED bulbs are shatterproof.

CFL (compact fluorescent) bulbs are more energy efficient and last longer than halogen bulbs. It takes several seconds for them to reach full brightness. They contain small amounts of mercury (for disposal information, visit www.epa.gov/cfl).

Halogen bulbs are energy efficient.

Bulbs that cannot be sold to the listed regions do not meet mercury and/or energy efficiency regulations.

Screw-In Base Spotlight Bulbs

These bulbs produce a narrower, more concentrated beam of light than floodlight bulbs. As LEDs, they last longer, are more efficient, and produce less heat than other types of bulbs. They also withstand vibration and are shatter resistant. Brightness is measured in lumens; the higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. Bulbs with a warm light appearance have yellow tones. Bulbs with a cool light appearance have white/blue tones and are good for inspecting. A bulb’s estimated yearly energy cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.

PAR bulbs have narrow beam angles that provide more focused beams of light than other spotlights. A short length allows them to fit in small can fixtures without protruding. Bulbs with a 5° beam angle are designed for dock lights. The narrow beam shoots light straight to the back of a docked truck. They won't wear out or fail from frequent movement or jostling.

Bulbs that cannot be sold to the listed regions do not meet energy efficiency requirements.

Dusk-to-Dawn Screw-In Base Light Bulbs

Motion-Sensing Screw-In Base Light Bulbs

Convert any standard socket into a security light. These bulbs have a built-in sensor that turns them on when it detects movement in the dark. They shut off five minutes after motion stops. You can change the light appearance with a switch on the side.

Plug-In Portable Lights

Style E work with a standard household screw-in LED spotlight or floodlight bulb. They have a steel guard to protect the bulb from bumps and scrapes.

Lights with an SOOW cord have both an outer and inner insulation that resists oil. They also stand up to weather and abrasion.

Articulating-Arm Dock Lights

Brighten loading docks and trailers—these lights swing out from the wall and tilt to direct light where it’s needed. They have a standard three-prong plug, so you won’t have to wire them. Rated for use in damp environments, these lights withstand humidity and moisture.

Styles A-C are compatible with standard household screw-in LED bulbs (not included). They have a zinc-plated steel guard to protect the bulb. Screw in a PAR38 LED with 5° beam angle bulb for focused light that illuminates the full length of docked trailers. These bulbs are designed to withstand jostling and frequent movement.

Add a fan to circulate air and cool your trailer. With three speed settings, you can set your preferred airflow. For Style A and D lights, plug the fan into the second outlet on the light’s arm.

Replacement light heads come with a steel guard to protect the lens.
