Choosing an Air Directional Control Valve

Control the water level in spaces where a rod and lever won’t fit; these float valves have an internal float and connect to your pipe. When the water level reaches the bottom of the valve, the float rises to stop the flow. The discharge outlet is unthreaded and releases contents into your tank.

Backflow-Prevention Valves with Clamps for Sump Pumps

Prevent dirty water from flowing back to your pump. Valves have flexible couplers with hose clamps to slip over PVC tubing for easy installation. At least 2 psi is required to open valves. Install for horizontal or upward flow.

Two-Speed Two-Action Air Directional Control Valves

Often used to extend and then retract a cylinder at different speeds, these valves create two actions and have two exhaust ports, which allows you to control the speed of each action by attaching a flow control valve to each exhaust port. They direct airflow from the inlet to your equipment and exhaust return airflow to create motion. Also known as 4-way and 5/2 valves.

Valves with spring return actuation return to their original position as soon as you release the actuator.

Valves with hand return actuation stay actuated and return to their original position only when you move the actuator again.

Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve. When selecting between valves with the same port size, choose the valve with the higher flow coefficient to ensure it provides enough airflow to operate your system.

Two-Speed Two-Action Air Directional Control Valves with Full Shut-Off

These valves close all ports in the off position to stop equipment in a locked position with air pressure holding it in place. Often used to extend and then retract a cylinder at different speeds, they create two actions and have two exhaust ports, which allows you to control the speed of each action by attaching a flow control valve to each exhaust port. Quick-Disconnect Garden Hose Couplings

Use these couplings if you need frequent access to a garden hose line—a complete coupling consists of a plug and a socket that connect and disconnect quickly. The compact design makes these couplings sleeker and easier to handle than cam-and-groove garden hose couplings. Couplings have a sleeve-lock socket. Connect by sliding back the sleeve on the socket, inserting the plug, and releasing the sleeve. To disconnect, slide the sleeve back and pull out the plug.

ABS plastic couplings offer comparable corrosion resistance to 303 stainless steel couplings, but are lighter in weight.

Couplings with shut-off valve have a valve in the socket that stops the flow of water when the coupling is separated.

Enclosure-Mounted Terminal Blocks

Save time when wiring connections in a junction box. These blocks come already installed in an enclosure. All enclosures are IP and NEMA rated to seal out dust and protect against corrosion. They meet UL 94 flammability standards.

ABS plastic and polycarbonate enclosures are lightweight and resist denting, chipping, and cracking. The polycarbonate enclosures also come with cord grips that are watertight. IP65 rated enclosures can be rinsed off. NEMA 4X and NEMA 6 rated enclosures protect against washdowns and weather conditions such as rain, snow and sleet.
