In addition to having a naturally slippery, wear-resistant surface, these sheets prevent the buildup of static charges. They resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be machined to close tolerances. They’re also excellent electrical insulators. Made of naturally slippery acetal copolymer, these rods and discs are an economical alternative to Delrin® acetal resin. They offer similar wear resistance and are equally resistant to expanding when exposed to heat and moisture. They can be machined to close tolerances and are often used to make precision gears, bushing, bearings, and rollers.
