Expanding Diameter Quick-Release Pins

Flip the handle 180° to expand and contract the shaft for a tight, vibration-resistant fit. Install pins their entire usable length. For a tight fit, your hole should be equal to or slightly larger than the diameter shown. Pins are made of 17-4 PH stainless steel for strength with some corrosion resistance, and passivated for added protection against corrosion and oxidation. They are magnetic. Breaking strength is measured as double shear, which is the force required to break a pin into three pieces.

Adjustable-Length Locking Quick-Release Pins

These pins adjust to take up play in a system or hold parts in holes of varying thicknesses. Spin the handle up or down, then tighten the locknut to change the length by up to ½”. Pins lock in place until you push the button to release the spring-loaded retaining balls. Use them in a hole as close to the diameter as possible, but not larger than the diameter at extended ball height. The T-handle has a hole to add a ring and lanyard (sold separately). Breaking strength is measured as double shear, which is the force required to break a pin into three pieces.
