This two-step process—compressing air, cooling it, and compressing it again—prevents heat and reduces wear, so you can run them continuously.

When choosing a tank size, keep in mind a larger tank capacity means you won't have to run them continuously, which extends their life. These compressors turn on when tank pressure drops to the actuation point and shut off when it reaches maximum pressure.

If you plan to run them continuously, use SAE 20 synthetic oil (sold separately) to maintain performance and efficiency.
