    Steam-Powered Jet Pumps

Image of Product. Front orientation. Jet Pumps. Steam-Powered Jet Pumps.
Image of Product. Side1 orientation. CrossSection view. Contains Annotated. Jet Pumps. Steam-Powered Jet Pumps.
Use plant steam to pump liquids and gases, prime pumps, and remove fumes. When high-pressure steam enters the intake, it creates suction that draws a second liquid or gas into the pump body and discharges a pressurized blend of the two. The discharge pressure is greater than the suction flow but lower than the intake pressure. Gas suction flow is calculated using steam at atmospheric pressure. They have no moving parts or seals, eliminating downtime for lubrication and repairs. They're also known as eductors, ejectors, and injectors.
Note: Liquid suction flow rate is calculated using 80 psi steam at 0-40 feet of discharge head.
Bronze Housing—Bronze is more corrosion resistant than steel.
316 Stainless Steel Housing—316 stainless steel pumps provide the most corrosion resistance.

    Robot-Ready Electric Vacuum Lifters

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Vacuum Lifters. Robot-Ready Electric Vacuum Lifters.
Attach these lifters to FANUC CRX or Universal Robots collaborative robots. They handle items up to 3.5 times heavier than our lifters for lightweight items. Because they use electricity to pick up and move items with suction, there’s no need for compressed air or air control valves. They don’t have pinch points or sharp edges, so they help you meet ISO/TS 15066 international safety standards for people working near robots.
Often used in packaging, palletizing, and material handling, these lifters can grip everything from cardboard boxes to bags of screws. With soft rubber cups, they’re less likely than pick-and-place grippers to damage glass, thin plastic, and other delicate objects. To install, plug the cord into your robot arm. It carries both power and control signals.
    Vacuum Lifters
Image of Product. Front orientation. Vacuum Lifters. Robot-Ready Electric Vacuum Lifters, Vacuum Lifters.
These lifters include a robot tool mount, vacuum generator, quick-change cup mount, vacuum cup assembly, extra vacuum cup, and cord. Use the quick-change cup mount to swap in other vacuum cup assemblies (sold separately).
Once installed, use your robot program to turn suction on or off. An integrated vacuum switch tells your robot when an item is picked up, so it can move to the next location. View and adjust vacuum levels and other settings with an onboard screen and keypad.
Lifters for FANUC CRX arms are FANUC approved and lifters for Universal Robots (UR) arms are UR+ certified, so they’ve been tested to work seamlessly with your robot. For simple integration with your teach pendant software, download FANUC and URCap plug-ins from the manufacturer’s website.
Maximum Weight Capacity—Maximum weight capacity is achieved only when lifting items with smooth, nonporous surfaces, such as those made from glass and sheet metal. Materials like cardboard leak air when lifted, which reduces your lifter’s capacity. For instance, you can lift about 25% of the maximum capacity when using these lifters on a cardboard box similar to those we ship our parts in.

Cup assemblies connect directly to the quick-change cup mount on these lifters. Assemblies with more cups have better stability when gripping items with large surface areas or uneven weight distribution.
All assemblies include flat and single-bellows cups. Flat cups work well with flat surfaces, such as the sides of boxes. Single-bellows cups firmly hold uneven material. Swap out worn or damaged cups with replacement vacuum cups.

Robot-Ready Electric Vacuum Lifters for Lightweight Items

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Vacuum Lifters. Robot-Ready Electric Vacuum Lifters for Lightweight Items .
Made for FANUC CRX and Universal Robots collaborative robots, these lifters use suction to pick up and move lightweight items, up to 6 lbs. They run on electricity, so you don’t need compressed air or air valves. Often used in packaging, palletizing, and material handling, these lifters can grip everything from small cardboard boxes to bagged screws. With soft rubber cups, they’re less likely than pick-and-place grippers to damage glass, thin plastic, and other delicate materials. They’re also simple to set up—a single cord supplies both power and control to your robot arm. They help you meet ISO/TS 15066 international safety standards for people working near robots because there are no pinch points or sharp edges.
    Vacuum Lifters
Image of Product. Front orientation. Vacuum Lifters. Robot-Ready Electric Vacuum Lifters for Lightweight Items , Vacuum Lifters.
These lifters include a vacuum generator with a robot mount, a cord, and two types of vacuum cups. Use the flat cup for items with level surfaces and the single-bellows cup for gripping tilted items or items of different heights. You can also use your own vacuum cup if it has a compatible 1/4 BSPP threaded connection. For large items, items that might break if lifted from a single point, or material with uneven weight distribution, use 2-, 3-, or 4-cup assemblies (sold separately).
Once you’ve installed these lifters, use your robot program to turn suction on or off. An integrated vacuum switch tells your robot when an item is picked up, so it knows when to move to the next location. Adjust the vacuum level using the arrow keys on the lifter body. These lifters achieve maximum weight capacity only when handling items with smooth, nonporous surfaces, such as glass or sheet metal.

    Robot-Ready Large-Area Vacuum Lifters

Everything you need to get your robot arm lifting large, bulky items with suction. With multiple suction points, these lifters have a larger footprint than standard lifters, so they can arrange boxed items on pallets and lift more than one item at a time. You don't need to make contact with all suction points to lift—great for picking up products that aren't perfectly aligned or consistently sized. They don’t have pinch points or sharp edges, so they help you meet ISO/TS 15066 international safety standards for people working near robots.
Use the included mount to bolt these lifters right to your robot arm. They have a built-in vacuum generator, so once you hook up the compressed air supply and plug the power cord into the arm, you’re ready to lift. Because these lifters have integrated air control valves, you can use your robot’s control program to turn suction on or off. A vacuum switch tells your robot when an item is picked up, so it knows to move to the next location. View and adjust vacuum levels and other settings with the display and keypad.

Lifters with cups are the best choice for most lifting. Made of silicone rubber, the cups are more durable and last longer than foam pads. The cups have bellows, which seal tightly on glass and other smooth surfaces. They can also conform to flexible materials and irregular shapes for a firm grip.
Maximum Weight Capacity—Maximum weight capacity is achieved only when lifting items with smooth, nonporous surfaces, such as glass and sheet metal. Materials like cardboard leak air when lifted, which reduces your lifter’s capacity. For instance, you can lift about 50% of the maximum capacity when using these lifters on a cardboard box similar to those we ship our parts in. Maximum capacity is also reduced when lifted items don’t fully cover all suction points.

Lifters with pads are the best choice for lifting items with uneven surfaces, such as wood and coarse plastic. Made of foam, the pads compress around bumps, grooves, and other textures to maintain a tight seal. They are also soft enough to lift delicate items without damaging them.
Any-Which-Way Mounts for Vacuum Lifting

Swivel, tilt, and rotate your vacuum lifter to grip irregularly shaped or textured items. These mounts have ball-and-socket joints that lock in place, so you can precisely position your suction for an ideal grip. Use the threaded arms and three thread adapters to connect vacuum lifters or threaded vacuum cups (both not included) of various sizes. Because the arms are hollow, you can run vacuum lines through them and directly to vacuum cups. Alternatively, use the plug near the bottom of the arm to route tubing with compressed air out the side to a vacuum lifter.

Grip, lift, and move materials with uninterrupted suction—even in dusty environments. These lifters have no moving parts, so they’re less prone to clogs from dust and debris. Also known as venturi devices, you connect them to any compressed air source and they’ll generate suction through a single nozzle—no need for a centralized vacuum system. If a clog does occur, you can clear it easily by reversing the airflow.
These lifters activate and release quickly, so they’re ideal for vacuum packaging and pick-and-place tasks. You can join multiple lifters together to create a system. Even if one vacuum cup fails to grip, the others will keep working.
They include an exhaust muffler that reduces noise and filters debris without impeding airflow. The vacuum cups are Buna-N to resist abrasion and oil. Use them on nonporous surfaces such as metal, glass, and plastic.

    Handheld Battery-Powered Vacuum Lifters

Create a strong vacuum seal for lifting with the push of a button. These lifters have a battery-powered pump to quickly suction to flat surfaces. If suction decreases, the pump instantly senses it and automatically reactivates to maintain grip. Use them on nonporous surfaces, such as tile, glass, plastic, and sheet metal. You can hold items either horizontally or vertically. Press the valve button to release these lifters.
A full charge lasts for about 600 pump cycles. They include a manual pump, so you can still use them while the battery recharges.
Warning: Never use to lift items over people.

    Large-Area Vacuum Lifters

With multiple suction points, these lifters have a large vacuum footprint to grip bulky items. They’re often used to arrange boxed items on pallets. They can also lift more than one item at a time. For instance, use them to pick up two side-by-side packages and place them in a box for shipping.
A built-in vacuum generator, also called a venturi device, creates suction using a compressed air supply. To control when they activate and release, you’ll need your own air control valves. You can also integrate these lifters with your control system to signal when they’ve picked up an item—they have a port to connect a vacuum transmitter.
These lifters are made of aluminum, so they’re lightweight and withstand corrosion. Use the mounting slots to attach them to T-slotted framing. Alternatively, slide a robot adapter plate into the slots to connect your lifter to robot arms with compatible ISO mounting patterns.

    Replacement Cup

Lifters with cups are the best choice for most lifting. Made of Buna-N, the cups are more durable and last longer than foam pads. They also stand up to abrasion and oil. The cups have bellows, which help the cups seal tightly on glass and other smooth surfaces. They also help the cups conform to flexible materials and irregular shapes for a firm grip.
Maximum Weight Capacity—Maximum weight capacity is achieved only when lifting items with smooth, nonporous surfaces, such as glass and sheet metal. Materials like cardboard leak air when lifted, which reduces your lifter’s capacity. For instance, you can lift about 80% of the maximum capacity when using these lifters on a cardboard box similar to those we ship our parts in. Maximum capacity is also reduced when lifted items don’t fully cover all suction points.

Lift and move porous, uneven, and delicate items without damaging them. Unlike other vacuum lifters, which seal to the surface of your workpiece, these lifters pick up items without touching them. Also known as Bernoulli lifters, they use a compressed air source to create a negative pressure zone, so you don’t need a separate vacuum generator. They’re also low-maintenance—they don’t use vacuum cups, and the durable steel housing is built for a long service life. These lifters are not for use with electronics or other items sensitive to static discharge.
If your workpiece is uneven, it may touch the lifter surface as it moves.
Capacity and air consumption are based on lifting a flat workpiece horizontally.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Vacuum Lifter Dampers—To create a soft area for your object to touch, add vacuum lifter dampers to the lifter face. These rubber discs gently press against your workpiece, adding enough friction to keep it from slipping and dropping.

Equip your collaborative robot with all it needs to lift bottles and other items with complex shapes. These lifters have a flexible balloon-like cup that conforms to the sharp curves, angles, and uneven surfaces of items that other vacuum lifters may struggle to pick up. Made of Buna-N, the cup resists oil and abrasion. It works for most lifting, including packaging and material handling. A rubber cushion inside the cup protects lifted items from damage if they hit the housing. The cup is held in place with stainless steel spring bands. Slip them off to replace a worn cup.
These lifters come with a robot arm mount, vacuum generator, and power cord for a quick, easy setup. Use the mount to bolt them directly to your robot arm. The cord plugs right into your robot arm for power and control. Because the suction is generated by electricity, there’s no need for compressed air or air control valves. You can configure digital inputs and outputs in your robot’s control program to turn suction on and off.

Lifters with cups are the best choice for most lifting. Made of plastic and rubber, the cups are more durable and last longer than foam pads. Move the cups along the rails to position suction right where you need it.
Connect these lifters directly to the port at the end of your robot arm for power and control. An integrated vacuum switch tells your robot when an item is picked up, so it can move to the next location. They come with tubing, fittings, and cups.
4 Cups—Vacuum lifters with 4 cups give you more stability than those with 2 cups when lifting items with large surfaces, such as cardboard boxes or glass.
For Universal Robots Robot Arms—Lifters for Universal Robots arms are UR+ certified, so they’ve been tested to work seamlessly with your robot. For simple integration with your teach pendant software, download the URCap plug-in from the manufacturer’s website.

Lift and position windows, large metal sheets, and even solar panels scratch free. These lifters connect to a crane or hoist and use suction cups to grip material. This makes them more gentle than tongs or plate clamps that can scratch delicate surfaces. For precise positioning, you can tilt these lifters up to 90° and rotate them 180°. As you rotate them, you can lock them at 45° increments. To prevent shifting during installation, they’ll automatically lock at 90°.
The battery-powered vacuum pump generates and maintains strong suction. If suction is lost, the pump senses it and automatically reactivates to maintain grip. A vacuum gauge lets you monitor pressure to stay within safe operating limits. If the pump runs out of battery during a lift, these lifters have a vacuum reserve tank that allows them to maintain grip and support the load for at least five minutes. Each lifter includes a battery gauge and a charger.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Stick these dampers onto Non-Contact Vacuum Lifters to create a soft area for your workpiece to touch while it’s in motion. These rubber discs gently press against your object, adding enough friction to keep it from slipping and dropping. Choose a damper that matches the manufacturer and model number of your vacuum lifter.

Pick up and release small, delicate parts with fingertip control. These electric lifters create a continuous vacuum system to lift microchips, circuit boards, and other sensitive components without squeezing or scratching them. Made from ESD-safe materials, they prevent electrostatic discharges that could damage your parts. Plus, Buna-N vacuum cups won’t leave marks behind. To release suction, press the button on the pen.
Fixed Vacuum—Fixed lifters operate at a set vacuum level, so they’re good for handling small parts of similar size, weight, and material. When perfectly sealed, their vacuum level is 10 in. of Hg. This may be too strong for very delicate material such as thin plastic film.
Adjustable Vacuum—Adjustable lifters have a knob to change the vacuum level. Adjust the vacuum level to just below atmospheric pressure to lift extremely delicate items, such as a thin piece of foil or film strip. Raise the vacuum level up to 10 in. of Hg to lift bolts, shims, and other heavier items. To reduce energy consumption, these lifters have an automatic on/off function that starts the vacuum when you pick up the pen from its holder and stops it when you put the pen back in. A bar graph display shows real-time vacuum levels to confirm an effective seal. These lifters are designed to limit shedding, so they’re rated for use in ISO Class 5 clean rooms.

Everything you need to build a custom vacuum lifter for your collaborative robot—including rails, connecting hardware, vacuum cups, air hose, robot arm mount, and vacuum generator, also called a venturi device. Whether you’re picking and placing stamped sheet metal, molded plastic, or cardboard boxes, this system gives you the freedom to position vacuum cups where you need them. Go from concept to ready-to-lift in minutes—you’ll need only simple tools for assembly. Build a custom frame with the aluminum rails—you can cut them down to size and join them together with the included connectors. Place the vacuum cups anywhere along your frame.
Hooking these lifters up to your robot arm is simple too. Use the included mount to bolt them right to the end of your robot arm. All that’s left is to plug the power cord into your robot arm and hook the lifter up to your compressed air line.
These lifters have integrated air control valves, so you can use your robot’s control program to turn suction on or off via digital inputs and outputs. A built-in vacuum switch tells your robot when an item is picked up, so it knows to move to the next location.
For Universal Robots Robot Arms—Lifters for Universal Robots (UR) arms are UR+ certified, so they’ve been tested to work seamlessly with your robot. For simple integration with your teach pendant software, download the URCap plug-in from the manufacturer’s website.
Maximum Weight Capacity—Maximum weight capacity is achieved only when lifting items with smooth, nonporous surfaces, such as glass and sheet metal. Materials like cardboard leak air when lifted, which reduces your lifter’s capacity. For instance, you can lift about 20% of the maximum capacity when using these lifters on a cardboard box similar to those we ship our parts in.

Also known as venturi devices, these lifters connect to any compressed air source to generate continuous suction—no need for a centralized vacuum system. The vacuum pump optimizes air flow to create a strong grip for lifting and moving materials while reducing air and energy use. These lifters activate and release quickly, so they’re ideal for fast-cycle pick-and-place tasks. Their cup is polyurethane rubber, so it’s durable and won’t leave marks on surfaces.
Flat Cup—Lifters with a flat cup can only pick up flat surfaces, such as sheet metal and panels.
Bellows Cup—Lifters with a bellows cup are a good choice for picking up items with irregular shapes and varied heights.
