Air Slides
Convenient for use with devices such as grippers and printing heads, these air slides have a nonrotating head that provides steady motion and a larger mounting area than air cylinders. Air slides have two guide rods parallel to the piston that keep the head from twisting as it extends and retracts.
The magnetic piston inside these slides can activate relays and controllers when used with a sensor (not included). When the piston moves past the sensor, the sensor activates. You can use multiple sensors—attach one for each action to trigger.

Clean Room Table Air Slides
Move optical equipment and other electronics sensitive to dust and fine particles from a range of mounting positions. These air slides have a port that connects to a vacuum or exhaust system to remove particles created by friction inside the slide before they contaminate your space. Compared to standard air slides, these slides have a platform that extends the mounting surface to the top of the slide. This design reduces the total space needed for a full stroke length. Two guide rods keep the head steady as it extends and retracts.
A magnetic piston inside these slides activates relays and controllers when used with a sensor (sold separately). When the piston moves past the sensor, the sensor activates. You can use multiple sensors—one for each action you want to trigger.

Double-Ended Air Slides
Push one object while pulling another—when one head on these air slides extends, the other retracts. Often used in pick-and-place systems across two surfaces, such as parallel conveyors, they can take the place of two standard air slides. With guide rods that keep the heads from twisting, they move more steadily than air cylinders. They also have a larger mounting area.
The piston is magnetic, so you can use these slides with sensors (sold separately) to activate relays and controllers. When the piston moves past a sensor, the sensor activates. You can use multiple sensors—one for each action you want to trigger.
