Hardwired Smoke Detectors
Link multiple detectors in tandem to warn occupants outside the vicinity about potential fire hazards; if one unit is activated, they're all activated. These detectors produce their own signal when visible smoke particles are detected. A backup battery provides protection in case of power failure. Detectors cannot be sold to Canada due to import regulations.

Carbon Monoxide Detectors for Fire Alarm Systems

When this detector senses carbon monoxide, it sends a signal to your control panel and sounds an alarm. Multiple units can be linked in tandem so all detectors will sound when any one of them is triggered.
Import regulations restrict sales to the listed areas.

Remote Test Stations for Smoke Detectors for HVAC Systems

Check that your HVAC smoke detector is working properly. Wire these test stations to your smoke detector controller to test difficult to access smoke detectors from a convenient location. Indicator lights show if your smoke detector is powered on, if it senses smoke, and if its sensors are too dirty to detect smoke and need cleaning. These test stations activate with the turn of a key so you don’t turn them on by accident.

Smoke Detectors for HVAC Systems

Detect the presence of smoke in ducts and shut down HVAC units to avoid circulation. These sensors and controllers have standard RJ45 connections, so they work with most alarm systems and quickly snap in without needing to connect individual wires to terminals. UL and C-UL listed as well as FM and MEA approved, they meet strict safety standards. Choose from a sensor, controller, or sensor and controller unit.
Sensors measure rapid changes in air flow from smoke and fire but won’t register dust and debris, so they won’t cause a false alarm.
Controllers send signals from your sensor to a fire alarm control panel, which closes HVAC dampers when smoke is detected. Controllers can be installed up to 15 ft. away from your sensors and connected with cable. Connect up to two sensors per controller to monitor two sections of ductwork.
Sensor and controller units come with one controller and one sensor. Connect another sensor to cover another spot in your HVAC system.
Sensors require sampling tubes (sold separately) to bring in air from the duct. Mount the sampling tube inside the duct and connect it to the sensor on the outside of the duct by drilling a hole with the included template. For duct up to 36" wide, the sampling tube’s length should be 2/3 the width of the duct.
If your smoke detectors are hard to access, use remote test stations (sold separately) to check that they’re working properly from a convenient location.
Products cannot be sold to Canada due to import regulations.

Fire Alarm Control Panels

Connect and monitor your fire alarm system. Control panel comes with all the circuitry needed to power and monitor devices for up to five zones. These devices can include up to 30 smoke or carbon monoxide detectors as well as an unlimited number of heat detectors and fire alarm stations. Indicators show the status of each zone. The control panel has one relay for connecting alarms such as buzzers, bells, and lights.
The control panel requires two 12-volt batteries (not included) for operation; in case of power failure, it will use the batteries as a backup power source.

Fire Alarm Stations

Install these stations throughout your facility for quick access in case of a fire. When activated, they send a signal to your control panel.
Push-button station helps comply with ADA standards when properly installed.
HVAC Flame Detectors

Replace damaged flame detectors in HVAC equipment, such as furnaces and boilers, as well as some water heaters and ovens. These flame detectors work with a wide range of manufacturers since you can bend the rod and cut it to fit in your ignition system. However, you shouldn’t bend the rod without the included protective sleeve. Touching or marring the rod can damage its ability to accurately detect a flame.

Stick-On Carbon Monoxide Indicators

Place this indicator anywhere you need to detect and warn about the presence of carbon monoxide. The circle in the center darkens when carbon monoxide is detected and returns to its normal color when exposed to fresh air. Replace indicator every 12 months. An unopened indicator has a shelf life of three years.

Portable Carbon Monoxide Detectors

When these detectors sense high levels of carbon monoxide, they alert you with an audible alarm, warning light, and vibrating alarm. You can adjust the alarm trigger point to suit your environment.
A calibration check must be performed on the detector before each use to verify that it is working properly. The check requires a regulator, tubing, and cylinder (sold separately).
The detector with a nonreplaceable battery should be thrown away at the end of its two-year lifespan.
