Pin-Lug Fire Hydrant Caps
These caps are the fastest way to access fire hydrants and washdown equipment. They have a bracket that snaps into any type of 2 1/2 size female fire hose threads. Tap on one of the pin lugs to remove quickly in an emergency—the bracket will release the hold on the threads and the cap will fall off without breaking. Tighten with a hook-style spanner wrench (sold separately). Caps are aluminum, which is lightweight with good corrosion resistance.
